Talk about nickel and diming you! Their billing service, Paramoiunt Acceptance is the WORST to deal with. I made a request to put a 90 day freeze on my account as money was going to be tight this summer. There is a $10 fee for this...OK, whatever. I put in the request 10 days before the bill was due, they asked for me to confirm, I said yes. Then I told them I was going to switch my billing info, which I did again before the billing date. They STILL charged me the full fee, overdrawing my account. I called and was super calm and professional as I explained what happened. Was put on "hold" and was disconnected. I call back, and all of a sudden there is a high number of callers. I hold, but get cut off again saying they will call me back. No call back that day. No call back the next day. I call again, and get the same message that they will hold my place in line and call me back. NO CALL BACK. A week of this nonsense, and I finally get a hold of someone, only for them to tell me that because I did not confirm a 3rd time they would not be refunding my money or overdraft fee. I checked me email communication, and there was NO request for a 3rd confirmation. User beware- The gym is nice, but their back end is h*** to work with, and as I said before, ****** and dime you to death with their fees for EVERYTHING.Review fromAngie C

To cancel my gym membership with ****** in ***** they make us send a physical letter to this company. However, this company purposely does not look at letters that are not certified with tracking numbers. They will claim it gets lost. After my wife called in and accused them of this it just so happened that they found the letter we sent in with just a stamp. Scam of a company.Review fromJan B

I called in December to cancel a membership and remove my bank card from their records. Thought we were all good and I dealt with a very pleasant representative. Its now March. Didnt hear anything until today when they said they are turning the account over to collections. Apparently when I canceled it wasnt 30 days notice so I was charged a fee they mentioned nothing about and they kept the account open due to it having an outstanding fee. I could even handle most of that if the representative was not completely rude and unprofessional. She would cut me off every time I tried to ask a question and clarify the situation. Not everyone is cut out for customer serviceReview fromJoe S

Paramount acceptance manages the personal training charges for Fitness Connection. I called to freeze my payments until further notice, and that only lasted for ** days. I tried to go to Fitness Connection to cancel it, and they told me I had to call. I called MULTIPLE times, and was always caller #**+, often #** or higher. I can't just sit around on hold all day, especially since their hours are 8-5 M-F, and just hang up on anyone on hold at 5PM. I called H323232**3132******33H, and they told me I had to contact Fitness Connection, who told me I had to call their customer service only to be placed into a 1 hour+ hold queue.I finally disputed the charge and blocked any further charges on my credit card from H323232**3132******33H. If they try to collect any "balances", which were unauthorized since I told them to freeze and not charge until re-authorized, and was told OK by their rep, and if I see a blip on my credit, I'll be contacting an attorney. This looks like a great case to collect damages.Review fromCourtney C

Will never use their services again, unfortunately for me I ended up with a contract with them when signing up for a gym membership. I also plan on never utilizing this gym based on their affiliates. I expectedly based on comments expect to continue to be badgered and harassed. They have zero lack of understanding or empathy. (I can no longer work out due to injury.) Horrible customer service waiting for a callback and then waiting another ten minutes.Review fromJenifer B

i used Vasa membership and they allowed my child who is 21 move to his own account away from my membership but still use my card for charges? FRAUDULANT company-i tried canceling and told me would be charged for another month as need 30 day notice. Told them chanceling due to untrusting company and fraudlent activity allowed so should cancel my subscription with no fees and should be given them back advise could not. Sad i have been with them for 7 years and never used the membership as should so they got over all the way and still trying----such a sad fraudulent company.Review fromJennifer S

If I was able to give 0 or a negative amount of stars I would. This company does harass and badgering and they are dishonest. I had a membership and got roped into signing up for a personal trainer. Yeah..... I paid bi-weekly for 1 training session a week and only was able to probably get 1 in a month if that. The trainer would either cancel and reschedule or the manager would call/text me that the trainer I was with no longer was with the company and I need to move to a new one. I explained to him due to PTSD I can only work with a woman and they sometimes did not have one there so I would just have to wait a couple weeks till they hired one/some. As of right now, I have 4 sessions I have paid for that have been not used. Then I ended up needing surgery in Dec, so the last trainer I was with told me at my last session before that surgery that I was able to put the personal training on pause so I wasn't being changed while out on recovery and she had that all set up. then a week later a day before my regular day I would go to train, the manager texts me that my trainer is no longer employed there (THIS IS THE 3RD ONE!) and again they don't have any lady trainers but hopefully will in a couple weeks. I told him ok, since I was out after having surgery that would be okay I guess. I did also ask to move to another location, cause apparently this location has issues. Now I am getting harassing calls and emails and I am in a email fight with Paramount that my account is delinquent cause they were not able to pull the last 2 draws for personal training, which would be for 4 sessions. They should not being doing this since I should be on a pause and I HAVE 4 SESSIONS UNSED ALREADY PAID FOR!!!! The reason they didn't go through was I got a new card as I lost mine and was going to updated it when I went back. Now I am in a fight with them on this and trying to just cancel everything and they are making it IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL OR EVEN DEAL WITH THEM!!!!!Review fromGale H

Paramount Acceptance Corporation harassed me and badgered me endlessly as for a "past-due" amount. According to the contract, I was to advise them my intention to cancel 30 days in advance of the expiration date, which in fact, I failed to do. My bad. In any event, I refused to give them my credit card info because I have had problems with them in the past continuing to charge my credit card without authorization. Because of this, I even paid cash in advance for a year's membership. They demanded a credit card for the extra month as I did not cancel according to the contract. I told them I was going to send a check because I refused to give them my credit card. I did so immediately but it took almost two weeks for the check to reach them and for them to deposit it.They harassed me endlessly during those two weeks. Phone calls, emails and texts. THESE PEOPLE ARE VULTURES. If you purchase a gym membership for any of the gyms that they handle, DO NOT give them your credit card. Only pay cash.
