In addition, the business has made the claim “Made in USA” on their website in white text that is not readable by consumers.
The BBB Code of Advertising states that, “‘Made in USA,’ and similar terms used to describe the origin of a product must be truthful and substantiated. In general, all or virtually all of the product must be made in the USA. Qualified ‘Made in USA’ claims can be made under certain circumstances and with appropriate disclosures.
Although the business was responsive to our requests at first, as of August 10, 2022, the business hasn’t fulfilled our requests to substantiate the claims mentioned above.
