I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service provided by Mesa Moving. Despite assurances from *********** (son of Mesa's President/CEO) during the pre-move walkthrough, Mesa failed to properly pack and transport our belongings, resulting in significant damage and loss. Here are the key issues we faced:Improper Packing and Protection: Many of our items, including furniture and sculptures, were either not packed at all or packed poorly, leading to substantial damage. The moving teams carelessness directly caused material losses. A team member even noted that the method of packing was not adequate to protect the items.Mislabeled and Misdelivered Items: Despite careful labeling and clear instructions, boxes and furniture meant for different locations were commingled and delivered to the wrong destinations. We had to hire additional movers to correct Mesas errors.Disorganized and Chaotic Move: The move itself was disorganized. The team was not properly prepared for the size of the move and did not appropriately budget time or staff. Items were forgotten, electronics were packed without cords or not packed at all, and the move schedule was delayed. This caused major disruptions to our cross country moving plans.Incomplete Inventory and Missing Items: The inventory list was incomplete, and we were forced to sign off without a proper accounting of all items. Several valuable items are missing enirely. We have already gone through arbitration, but due to technicalities in our claim submission (the contract is enormously biased in favor of the moving company), we were not awarded compensation. However, the negligence and poor service we experienced still need to be addressed. I hope Mesa will take responsibility for the damage caused and offer a fair resolution. In the meantime, we will continue to share our experience in the hope that no one has to go through what we have.Mesa Moving And Storage

***************** submitted your Claim to our Carrier to review. Our Carrier is ****************. Per ****************' Legal/Arbitration Team, prior to submitting your claim, you had moved all your items AFTER **** had delivered them. As such, *** had no choice but to deny your claim in its entirety. The reason cited by **************** - because you moved your items after Mesa delivered - but prior to filing your claim - there is no way to determine if the claimed damage is the result of Mesa's actions. We are truly sorry for your frustration, and wish you the best in your new surroundings.Review fromwilliam k

We used Mesa Moving and currently have many items in their storage in Bozeman, MT. They are completely disorganized and dishonest. I will provide details if the people reading this are interested. I have asked for a current inventory list, and they will not provide. I recently asked to pull out one item (a teepee) and neither my emails nor phone calls to ******************* and his staff are returned. They ghosted us, totally unacceptable. I prefer to settle amicably but their behavior is making it impossible. We ask that company management intervene. The Bozeman office has been a disaster for us.Mesa Moving And Storage

We are truly sorry you have had such a negative experience with our Bozeman Team! We understand both our Owner, ******************* - and Vice President of Operations, ********************* - have been working with you closely these past 4 days and throughout the Holiday weekend. To this point, we have located the artwork piece you have requested access to, and continue to diligently search our warehouse for the teepee. ********************* is now your point of contact, and will continue to handle this process moving forward as he is onsite in Bozeman. If the teepee cannot be located after our exhaustive search, we will immediately begin the claims process for this item. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we address this management issue in our Bozeman office, and truly value your business.Review fromJosh F

This is being written from a former employee. ( ************************* ) I am not here to bash the company, only want known how they really treat their employees.I was hired on 2-8-2022. I was there up until 1-31-2024. This is how the situation played out, even though I know Mesa will do & say anything to down play it.From my original hire date, I was brought on as a Full time employee, it was told signed & dated as such during the interview. I went to work, a year & 1/2 later, I find I was only on as Part time. ( part time precludes you from accruing vacation, sick days, holiday pay, any 401k & any other time that Full time covers )When I realized the issue I brought it to the attention of the *** who hired me on & was assured that the oversight had been corrected. Was not happy about losing out on all that time & pay, but was nice enough to carry forward from that point on.A few months went by & unfortunately by the present time, my Mother has passed away on 1-6-2024. As you do, I took bereavement time to handle & take getting nesscary arrangements taken care of.When I got back, I was informed that I had NEVER been put on Full time status. Since part time does not cover bereavement pay. So, I was lied to, mislead & used at the company's leisure. Where I come from & how I was raised, that is unacceptable. They refuse to make it right, do to the ******************* polices. ?I was unwilling to work for a Company that promotes trust, **************** While at the same time using underhanded practices. If they are willing to do that to an employee, what do you think they will do to you as a customer? As of this date 2-1-2024 I have yet to recieve any compensation. Not for what I feel I'm owed, only what I have worked for & earned. If this is what your looking for in a company, they have it in spades. Just think twice before agreeing or sign anything. You all take care, thanks for taking the time.Review fromVickie C

If I could 0 stars I would. Movers showed up hung over and threw up in our street. It took two trucks to deliver our belongings, when we were told our belongings would be moved into one truck driven to the destination and unloaded. We had the fall holidays without most of our belongings. When they finally showed up many items were damaged. They went out of their way to hide damaged items by placing them on the bottom of piles, upside down, and out-of-site. The lack of integrity and lack of care was astounding! Claims process totally unacceptable. Took them 8 months to fix some of our belongings and just as long to low ball us on replacement value, even with receipts. I dont know how these people sleep at night. Poor service at best. Bunch of ************ sales to customer service to the drivers to the third parties they use. Not one of them were honest with us.Mesa Moving And Storage

Information regarding this claim is outlined below. Mesa's carrier, United *** Lines, is now handling this claim. Further questions should be directed to Claims Teams 4 at ************.Please note, Mesa only handled the carpet damage claim and this is resolved. United *** Lines handled the cargo damage..Cargo Claim received on 2/28/2023 and a repair firm was assigned that same day.Appt was scheduled for 3/16/2023 based on the customer's schedule Claims Report received on 4/3/2023. ***liner approved repairs on 4/6/2023 / Substantiation of value was requested from customer.5/5/2023 - repairs were scheduled. The customer cancelled that appointment, and it was rescheduled for 6/1/2023.Settlement letter sent on 6/8/2023. Within this letter, it outlined that a check in the amount of $3,779 was mailed under separate cover to customer. The customer filed a dispute that same day. Team 4 with United *** Lines is still working to resolve customer's disputes. Team 4 is asking for substantiation, as customer is claiming additional $2,500.00 for cushions. The customer was not providing substantiation for these items. Team 4 reached out to the manufacturer and found that the cushions were worth $1,500.00 and offered this to the customer - as long as she agreed to let Team 4 salvage the cushions. She is now refusing to let her cushions be salvaged, but still wants full payment.Vickie C

This response from Mesa is not factually accurate. Any further comment from them will also not be factually accurate. If they spent as much time providing good service as they do covering themselves, I and many others wouldnt have so many complaints. Settlement letter and $3,779 funds mostly covered the brand new 77 TV that the movers broke. And I did provide substantiation of the cost of new covers for my patio furniture which were also less than a year old. I took a screen shot from Custom Cushions for a low priced deep seat cushion cover (not including the the cushion itself) and it was $140 per cushion. So, $140/cushion cover * 10 cushions is $1400. Now they want the entire cushion which I cannot replace for the $1500 they are offering. I offered to give them the damaged cushion covers but they will not accept them. Anyone who has bought high end patio furniture knows you cannot find fabric to match after the sales season because it is made specially for the retailer so they dont have to compete with others. Consumers you decide. Im an auditor and I dont lie.
