we've been in our home for 3yrs and every now and then we will get a bill which is really high and billed at multiple months, but we are never behind. Every time i call they never have an answer to the high bill and every month is a guessing game even though we cut back on water just to see what the outcome would be and it never helps and the company refuses to ever adjust anything. If i wasn't forced to deal with them i wouldn't the last company was more than half the cost.

Mechan - As a third party utility management and billing company we simply bill you for any charges received from the local utility providers as they are received. You can find https://conservice.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409031467291-Understanding-Multiple-Service-Periods-Single-Family-Homes for more information. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any questions.

Though our lease began on July 13, 2022, my husband and I did not move into our apartment until July 22. The apartment complex switched to Conservice and we were told that our first water bill should go though either the middle or end of August 2022. However, our bill is only for ***** July. The meter reading shows **** gallons of water used on the dates of ***** July -- 5 days of usage a full 10 days before we moved in! There is obviously an error in the water meter reading or the dates of usage or both. I called Conservice and was told that the problem was with the leasing office. Conservice though is in charge of reading the meter and billing the resident. Conservice does not provide an email address so there is no way to keep a written record of our communication. No company should be able to bill a customer and fail to provide adequate ways to contact them. When contacted by phone Conservice should take corrective action and not pass the buck.

I have been leasing a town home from progress residential for the last past 18 months. Apparently Conservice states they request to go through then to consolidate the utility bills. That is exactly what I did, paying a service fee of **** a month. After 18 months of paying them faithfully before due date every month. They were also taking $***** for the last 18 months on top of my electricity bill which is estimated amount of about ******. Without any kind of courtesy notice stating if you don't put your electricity bill in your own name; We will be charging an extra *****?I am a single mom working hard to keep in good standing with every company I encounter. How can this company feel good about what they do when they are literally taking extra money. With the way inflation is right now. How can these people live with themselves. I tried reaching out to explain how I felt and that this just is wrong to take an extra ***** without ever reaching out to me at least as a courtesy, ask if there could be a refund done to me for the past 18 months. I received and email reply from ******** who basically could careless did not even try to refund any part of my money. Please be caution with this company. Review your bill carefully. I am hopefully trying to move from this place to get out from working with this company ever again.

****************** your lease agreement, the electricity should be set up in your name with the local utility provider as of your lease start date. If this is not completed we will continue receiving electricity bills for the home. These charges are forwarded to the resident as vacant electricity and a vacant service fee is charged. This fee is also outlined in the lease. You can find https://conservice.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407182786203-What-are-vacant-charges-and-why-am-I-receiving-them- for more information. I advise setting up your own electricity services as soon as possible. Please feel free to reach out to us online at www.utilitiesinfo.com with any questions.

Our complex was overcharged from February 2022 to August 2022 for sewer services. I have a chain of emails inquiring about the charges and asking for a direct contact to resolve the issue and for a refund. There's a clear data entry error listed on the bills as a double charge for sewer. There's been no reply other than to explain how their billing system works. But I see our September billing has finally been corrected, which is a direct conflict with the explanation they provided to me back in April. I've asked for a refund but there's no word on if and when Conservice will be issuing refunds to all the tenants who were overcharged for these months. Reviews online clearly show there's a problem with the company overcharging and not making it right. They should be investigated and their practices audited. No big deal about the service fee, but to overcharge anything on utilities seems to be criminal? To Conservice- please feel free to air my billing business in your reply like you do with anyone else who's left a bad review. You obviously need someone working your reputation management who understands community.
