Worst safe ever. Liberty keeps the Manufacturers Reset Code, or ***, versus providing it to the customer. If you accidently check the wrong box when registering the warranty they delete the *** from their "database" which should not even exist in the first place, and now there is code to your safe just floating around out there...THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE. They use bolt-on aftermarket parts using Prologic Securam components that Liberty (haha even the name...) keeps from the customer without a NOTARIZED document after YOU PURCHASE THE SAFE. Even worse, when you go to register to warranty, if you accidentally check the wrong box on the online form, that code is gone forever (at least they say...) If I don't get a refund full refund I'm going to consider legal action, and if that fails, I'm literally going to sell if for scrap metal or put a GIANT sign all over the internet that says "FREE, Please take it now." I want a full refund and you should do the same for every other person that completely dissatisfied with your safes. No American gun owner in their right minds wants anyone to have a code to their safe. Fix it or go bankrupt.

****************,Looking through the information related to your serial number, it shows while filling out your warranty registration you requested to have your combination/reset code removed from our database. On the registration page there is a selection where you had to check the box to have your information removed from our records. The exact verbiage copied from the registration form is below. Combo Removal BY CHECKING THE **** I AM AGREEING TO LIBERTY SAFE REMOVING MY COMBINATION OR RESET CODE. I UNDERSTAND BY CHECKING THIS BOX THAT LIBERTY SAFE WILL BE UNABLE TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO ME IF I LOSE OR FORGET MY COMBINATION AND WILL BE UNABLE TO SUPPORT SERVICE REQUESTS FOR MY LOCK. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT MY LOCK WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE EXTENDED LOCK WARRANTY.It looks like you sent in a combination request form looking for us to provide your combination to you, but because you checked the box and asked us to remove it from our database, this information was removed from our records. We are unable to assist you if you have lost or forgotten your combination.

I own a liberty safe and want my money back. I did not buy a safe so that anyone else has the code. I cannot believe that Liberty Safe has done such a thing as to hand out the codes for their safes to the government. Going to have to reinvest in all new stuff to protect my legal firearms.

They sell out their customers by giving federal agents access to your safe...there is no safe in "Liberty"

Do not buy liberty safes. They will give the government a backdoor code to open your safe behind your back. They will sell you out. This is an ********************

My safe would not lock and called Liberty Safe and spoke to one of their customer service representatives. They told me that the key pad needed to be replaced and my safe was more then 5 years old and was out of warranty. They gave me a phone number of a lock ***** who could replace the key pad. I called the lock ***** and was told that I was too far for him to get to my house and find another lock ***** who is closer. I did and he replaced the keypad. Cost was $515.16. The next day I found the warranty paper that stated after 5 years and for life of the original owner all parts would be free. I contacted Liberty Safe and asked to be reimbursed for the cost of the keypad, $190.00 and was told no. I asked why their customer service representative didn't know the part was covered when I first called. No answer. I am out $190.00 because their customer service representatives don't know what their warranties cover. Very poor customer service to say the least.

I don't think the way that Liberty Safe is handling this situation with Spartan Safe's bankruptcy appropriately. They are leaving this all on one employee at Liberty to handle what is probably hundreds of complaints about customers not receiving their safe from Spartan Safe who operated out of multiple states. Liberty Safe chose Spartan Safe as their supplier and should do all they can to make their end customer happy. Instead they are passing the buck onto Spartan Safe or hoping your credit card company will refund you the money. What if I paid cash? Their next option is to talk to a lawyer. Now I have to hire a lawyer??? I work for a manufacturing company and we would never hold our enduser responsible for the failings of a distributor WE chose. We would supply our enduser the product and go after the distributor for the money they owed us. We would never put this responsibility on the end customer. ********************** needs to step up and take care of their customers and stop hoping that CC companies or Spartan Safe will eventually take care of this issue for them. I am very disappointed with Liberty Safe.

I purchased a Liberty safe from one of their authorized dealers in June of 2022. I paid over $2,000. Over the course of many months I checked the status periodically and was told it was a logistical problem with the manufacturer, transport issues Covid etc Just found out that as of mid November liberty safe terminated their relationship with this dealer. I contacted Liberty safe and they said That they accepted no responsibility and I would need to try to get a refund from the dealer. Not likely since the dealer apparently was not paying them. They did offer to sell me the safe again and would try to match the original. SO IN EFFECT THEY EXPECT ME TO PAY DOUBLE OR POSSIBLY MORE FOR THE SAFE. During my conversation with them it became clear that Liberty knew of the problems with this dealer going back to at least July. HOWEVER THEY CONTINUED TO ALLOW THE DEALER TO REPRESENT THEM. I dont know if there is any legal liability here on their part **** i intend to look into it I expect a reliable responsible company to do a significantly better job in selecting and monitoring their dealers. Liberty clearly does not I definitely recommend not buying any products from them
