To begin with, there are thirteen lengthy questionnaires and disclosures to fill out. Initially, it seemed like they had legitimate solutions to help our daughter with her mental health. As we progressed through the therapy it became clearer that they were just throwing darts at a treatment dartboard with no real clue as to what the proper treatment should be. They prescribed lithium carbonate with the assurance that we would see positive results within a few weeks. They also gave her a list of supplements to buy, which totaled $270 per month. After we did not see any improvements, the psychiatrist began increasing her lithium dosage, in which she assured us that it would provide noticeable benefits. When that did not work, they prescribed progesterone, because they said that her progesterone level was low. Our daughter later went to her OB/*** doctor for a blood test, and she was told that her progesterone was actually too high.As far as the scheduling/billing goes, it only got worse. They unknowingly scheduled an appointment for our daughter without telling her beforehand. We received a text message on a Sunday morning reminding us that she had an appointment scheduled for the next day. We called and canceled the appointment because it became obvious that the therapy and supplements were not helping at all. A couple of days later we had a $125 charge on our credit card. We called billing and asked what the charge was for, and they told us that it was for a missed appointment. We told them that we could not give them required 24 hours notice since we received the reminder on a Sunday for the Monday appointment. We were told that it is just our policy and that is what we charge for a missed appointment. We called our credit card company and filed a dispute with them to have the charge removed. It has been several weeks, and we are still trying to resolve this issue.Avoid this business to preserve the wellness of your own mental health!!
