      We initially went with this company after they told us they do not outsource to a foreign country, which we were excited about as they advertised they are a local company, which we wanted for the sake of time and efficiency. This may be arguably true since they are essentially a foreign company with contractors in the ******** made turnaround time incredibly arduous for our requests and the project manager had no idea what was going on, nor did he even know how to write code for an app. The communication was horrible from the project manager from Appstango to the teams in *****. At each weekly meeting, there would be updates and questions from our team which seemed to never get communicated effectively back to the Indian developers. We had several code reviews and while the code somehow worked, none of it followed any efficiency best practices or UX/UI best practices. The timeframe we initially were given was never met and it was ongoing issue after ongoing issue, even for small things that an app development shop should already know how to fix if they are in the business of making apps. Never once were we given a preview of the code or walked through how the code worked or what it looked like. They claim that all of their documentation is there for us to review, but would not be invoiced in bite-sized pieces, but sent to us in such immense Excel spreadsheet files, it was nearly impossible to review in a timely manner which they wanted. Greatly overwhelming our team, almost **************** not recommend this company. We requested a meeting with their CEO, who sat down with us and promised improvements on things that should have been in place since the beginning. The CEO stated, that he didn't even know the code in which our app was written after claiming to have done a "code review". He has experience in AWS, so perhaps he was reviewing our code there but never was his review done of our actual app code language.
