The repair of my washer is estimated to take 24 days. The pump drain requires replacement. After a diagnosis, it takes four days to receive a decision regarding cost coverage. The company decided that I replace my entire washer. Upon receiving this decision, I declined purchasing a new washer (in which the company will give me $300 on the purchase) and I requested that only the defective part be replaced. This request took another week for a decision and another week to purchase the replacement part upon approval. Finally, it took three days to install the replacement part. Overall, this process was frustrating.

I just hanged up with them. The way I could describe this company, is a FRAUD. The "service" is good only when nothing is broken at home, but when you file a claim, they take too long and when they finally get a quote from the technician, they don't respect the policy and they charge you with more money, even the repair and spare parts are specifically covered. After 18 days without solution, I asked for the refund of the deductible I paid from the ************ next step after having that charge back (****** usd) is cancelling the policy and asking ALL my money back since no service was provided from the beginning. Somebody told me that they were going to refund only for the time remaining of the policy. They don't even deserve one star. If I could use an emoji for the worst to rate them I would do it.

This company is the worst. They lie to get ur business and then when you want to cancel they make more promises and fail again. Now we have been waiting for out refund for 4 weeks and its just a run-around. When our AC went out in 115 degree heat they took over 2 weeks for approval of the work and we finally had to pay out of pocket and they would not reimburse us.

Liberty Home Guard is who we have them as are HORRIBLE. they contact BBB 1 star business so that you end up paying their claim fee, having a useless tech come out once if you are lucky, and then never coming back. Then you as their PAYING CUSTOMER have to pay out of pocket for your own tech service. We've been denied reimbursement due to not following their policies of having the work approved before completed, but they are expecting families like us with babies to go without AC in the heat or a working bathroom due to a plumbing issue when other service companies are true to their work and fix same day We're trapped in a 5 year plan, 2 years in and we've paid thousands to these con artists who tell you that you cannot file a complaint on them because they only contract those techs, they aren't responsible for anything after that

I cannot believe I've been so duped. I am paying a lot of money for a home warranty through Liberty. I read the reviews online and researched the best companies. In hindsight, I should not have trusted those reviews and should have come directly here.On April 22, 2024 I made a claim for my AC and paid the $70 for a technician to come out. Two men came and did the inspection and said that the unit would have to be replaced. I heard nothing more from either that company (United HVAC in **********) nor from Liberty Home Warranty from that moment on. I had to call Liberty myself after 3 weeks because there was zero communication as to how my claim was going. I also called United but they never responded either.I emailed Liberty again this week and they wrote back to say they would expedite everything. They assured me that I would hear something from them either at the end of that day or the following day. This was on the 14th of May and it is now the 17th and I still have no answers. This cannot be legal and I will do everything I can to make sure this company does not rip off another hard-working American consumer again.

My dryer stopped working. I called and paid my claim fee of 125 dollars. They sent out an technician and the belt on the dryer had broke. I then got a call and was told I would have to pay an additional 250 dollars for it be fixed. I asked why and they said they do not cover the installation cost, they only cover the diagnostics and the part but not installing the belt. The belt costs less than 10 dollars. Replacing a broken belt is what my dryer needs to be fixed. To me installation means installing an item somewhere in your house, not replacing a broken part! When I bought the policy I was told that they would fix and repair a covered item or they would replace it. I Purchases the: ***** HOME GUARD -- PER CLAIM FEE: $125.00. I was told this package covers both systems and appliances. The home warranty was described to me as coverage for my home appliances and/or system repairs. It was explained that warranties shield homeowners from the high cost of unexpected appliance breakdowns and system failures. It would provide protection not just for my home, but for my budget and time as well.I was not told I would have to pay for someone to fix an appliance , more than the 125 dollar service fee, when it needed it repaired. I feel scammed and taken advantaged of!

We had a water heater that broke and leaked water all over our house. We were astonished to learn that this company would not replace the water heater because they do not cover "leaking>" nor do they pay for installation of a new unit. Also, they will not pay for installation of a broken garage door operner. We pay they $125 service fee in addition to a monthly fee for cfoverage and they will not pay for installation of the replacement unit.Do not recommend this company to anyone.

They false advertise! They do not cover A/C units. I have them and they haven't did anything but send a tech that cost me $95 who determined it needs replacement. Multiple calls and keep getting the runaround!Had Choice before same thing for a fridge, had Homeshield same thing for AC, also had Fixd same thing for water heater. How are these companies legal in *** is ridicules

I have had one of the worst experiences with Liberty Home Warranty company. They are very unorganized company, bad management, no courtesy or respect for customers. They are very slow, and many times totally non-responsive. Please do not waste your money to eventually experience what I am going through. I have called for couple of issues, my air conditioning which they refused to get it fixed even after repeated calls. I had to get it repaired myself with another company, and when there was another issue after few months I called Liberty again, and this time they refused to fix again saying the parts are not available, installations are not covered, etc. They charged my again $75 just to say no. I paid $150 for just my AC issue on top of my policy premium and still getting no help from them. Few months later I had an issue with my refrigerator which almost new, only a year old. This time also the response was very slow, could not get any reliable response even after calling 5 days in a row. Eventually after insisting on talking to a manager, they come back and tell me the will cover the cost of the parts and installation is not covered. I had to pay $100 for review of the problem, and they said they can only cover the parts. Bulk of the cost is installation and they are making me pay that. While the part is very cheap, they would cover that only. Worst customer service ever. Please do not fall into their trap, go else where for home warranty. My sincere advice to all.
