    I am rejecting this response because:


    the timing chain had nothing to do with what happened to the motor afterwards. They replaced the head gasket and that is what blew out after they told me the work was complete and i picked up the truck to to go to work. In wich I also stated for them to test drive the vehicle wich they did not do. The work performed was not professional by any means. The head gasket blew is what caused the final damage to the vehicle. They stated my truck was ready to drive .

    we had only charged him 750 for labor and 200 for the parts/ lifters. we had informed him that the timing chain guides were broken, and he refused to allow us to repair the timing even though we were not going to charge him any extra all he had to do was buy the parts. he told us to put the vehicle back together lifters only. we even made a notation on the receipt of his refusal that there was no warranty because he refused to repair the timing guides. we have a copy of the receipt that he signed, and it states that he didn't want the timing changed on which he signed and dated.

    Also the timing chain guide pieces hes referring to was not in the oil pan or engine and did not damage to the motot. They replaced the head gasket improperly wich blew after only getting half a mile from thier shop. Wich destroyed the engine. They said it was repaired and ready to drive when in fact it was not.
