    Tanglewood provided a wheelchair from the end of July until mid October. My husband's deductible and out of pocket were completely paid at the time. Tanglewood continuously sends bills but when I call them, they say the bill is pending with the insurance company. I believe they are attempting to commit fraud by being paid by the insurance company and the patient.

    We have already fixed this account as we explained to the patient that some of our adjudication of claims got back logged do to all the Change Healthcare issues, but who cares about providing grace to a small business that is just trying to keep their heads above water with decreased reimbursement and added administration cost such as responding to baseless complaints.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The business defaults to incorrect coverage, that is on the business not the consumer. 

    Also, the business states that the have other invoices but when I spoke with them this morning,  the only invoices discussed were the ones shown on the EOB'S

    Finally,  I spoke with Anthem and they confirmed that all invoices had been paid. The Anthem **** ******* has called the business and left a message for *****, Tanglewood's office manager.

    Thank you for providing the **** for the claims in question we will send a message to **** to check status on the payment. I know that we have spoken with the patient about sending us the info in the past and that there may have been a issue with the email address. We have forwarded the **** to our  billing department to follow up accordingly. Also the invoices that where showing as owed by the patient where pending invoices and not open, and in our system the billing department defaults all ************** to 80/20 plans regardless of the state of any deductibles.

    Not sure when she sent that message as I have communicated with her and we are switching out her machine that she is having issues with.

    I am "temporarily" rejecting this response "ONLY" because the machine has not yet been exchanged.  I contacted Tanglewood's owner, Mr. ****************** on LinkedIN.  He has been much more responsive than his staff and I am thankful for that.   It is my understanding ******************** tech was unable to fit exchange of the RESMED machine into his schedule last week but he will contact me this week to do so.  I will happily inform the BBB when the machine has been exchanged and fully expect it will be done now that **************** is aware of all that occurred. I do still need to know how to get the supplies I need upon the RESMED being replaced as I have been at 100 percent coverage on my health policy for covered supplies for several months.  It is my understanding **************** is either going to handle this or assist me by transferring my account to another supplier in a professional manner so I will not be harmed further.  Although this has not yet been resolved, I believe **************** is working towards making this right and I appreciate his efforts to do so.
