I find Texoma Classics to be a disreputable car repair shop, committing unconscionable courses of action to my detriment by taking advantage of me to a grossly unfair degree with false, misleading, and deceptive acts and practices in its conduct that are declared unlawful by Texas Deceptive Trade PracticesConsumer Protection Act, by implementing ways that it could make more money from repairs. It:Held my 1979 ************************** for 579-days, breaching an implied warranty by not performing repairs in a workmanlike manner.Retained my car in a disassembled state, preventing me from easily transferring it to a reputable car repair shop without paying an exorbitant fee to have it reassembled.Extorted me by threatening to abandon my irreplaceable keepsake unsecured on the street if I did not pay what could legitimately be termed a ******."Knowingly made false or misleading statements of fact concerning service by soliciting payment for 105-days of storage at $25 per day when it itself was negligent in the timely conduct of repairing my car for that period.Denied it had damaged my car, but instead attempted to extract money from me to repair damage it had perpetrated.Knowingly made false or misleading statements of fact concerning service when it claimed its body shop was prepared to repair the damage it had caused while in its hold, when I have testimony it did not.Disparaged the services of another car repair shop by false or misleading representations of facts, claiming the shops repair estimate was overpriced.Exploited a 70-year-old man, which is reportable to the Department of Family and Protective Services. After 579-days, $32,262.60more than the book value of the carand despite my multiple attempts to simply obtain satisfactory information and services, unlike legitimate businesses, Texoma Classics business management practices clearly do not include valuing customer good will, a fundamental quality of reputable enterprises.
