This company rips people off. Lost my AC guy, called *** on a recommendation. A $10.00 part, 10 min repair. Charge: $350.00!!!!!Then I asked the guy if the trip charge would be waived, no only on a minimum $375 total. Really? Then I asked him to change out my air filter while he was up there. He said it didn't need changing. He was just too lazy or forgot. If you have plenty of money, use ***. But there are many better options out there.

We purchased 2 ***** systems from them 5 years ago. We purchased the extended service package to go along with them. Our AC unit for the lower level has not worked properly since June. They can not seem to fix it, or they are waiting on back ordered parts. They have done nothing to accommodate our situation other than oh, so sorry you are hot. They are also refusing to give me an itemized receipt for the work done up until now and have been shady in honoring the warranty. If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service there is a joke and management only wants to argue with you.

Lex Air came to perform the Summer tune-up of the 2 ***********. Soon after the larger A/C stopped working and the reason is the over-flow tray was full of water. An A/C tech from another company came and found out that the tray in the coil unit was broken at the outlet connection. It looked like too much pressure was put on the pipes and caused the tray to break in 3 places around the outlet area. I took the picture of the broken tray and sent to Lex Air and ask for their opinion. There is no answer. How did this happen we'll never know. I wish we had a camera in the attic where the air-handlers are.

I’ve been using K&S Heating and Air - now Lex-Air - for over 10 years. They have a very professional group of people who have provided me exceptional service, support, and repair. My current tech, Sal Palmieri, is a real pro who has my utmost trust and confidence! I highly recommend Lex-Air to anyone who is looking for a good company to provide great service and support for their Heating & Air needs.

I called Lex Air in **** summer because our ** was not cooling optimally, and our bill had started going up. We'd also not serviced it for 2 years anyway. From the minute *** learned it was 15+ years old, he started pushing we replace the entire system. He was totally bent on condemning the system, rather than doing maintenance as I requested. I did emphasize I wasn't ready to buy a new system all the same. Eventually he did look surprised that I insisted he recharge the freon but he emphasized I'll be throwing money out of the window coz it would be short-lived. Eventually he did "recharge" it. Now I don't know how it's done, but I had to take his word for it that he actually put freon into the units. My final bill was $1000+ for the service. And he even scheduled for someone to come give me an estimate for a new system. Barely a week later I noticed the ** was barely cooling at all - even worse than it was before I called them. This time I called a different company. Upon inspection he found no leaks and he went ahead and added freon. It's now early September and our ** still cools as good as new about 3 months later. I've waited this long to leave a review to be sure I'm not biased! I'm left with the conclusion that *** had to prove a point that our system was no good, so I'd be forced to buy a new system. Whatever he sabotaged I don't know, all I know is that our ** stopped cooling about a week after he "serviced" it. I think they're out to milk out as much money as they can by forcing you to replace the entire system. Beware not to get scammed by Lex air! You've been warned.
