complaints regarding the company’s marketplace practices.Specifically,
BBB identified a pattern of complaints alleging:- The item(s) purchased from Luckys Car Parts was not delivered/received.
- Luckys Car Parts did not provide shipping information after payment was processed.
- Luckys Car Parts will not answer/return calls and/or will hang up the phone on the customer and block their calls.
- Luckys Car Parts website uses online photos from other sites for their advertisement of parts available and for sale.
- Luckys Car Parts requested the consumer pay via a wire transfer or mobile payment service.
BBB
requested the company's voluntary cooperation in eliminating the identified
pattern in consumer complaints by providing a written response outlining the
steps the company will implement to avoid future complaints of the same or
similar nature.BBB
was unable to verify via the Texas Secretary of State website that a business
registration for Lucky’s Car Parts is active or in existence and requested
proof from the business.Luckys
Car Parts was not responsive to the consumer complaints nor any of BBB’s
inquiries regarding the pattern of complaints and the investigation was closed
as ‘Failed to Respond’ on April 18, 2024.
