    I enrolled in the online defensive driving course. I am uunable to proceed in the curriculum without verifying my identification. I filled out the requested information and their page will not load, and shows a message that they have an error on their sidee and to please contact them. My complaint is that their chat window is not functional when I attempt to use it. I tried again later during their posted hours of availability and there was a message that support was offline. There is no email or phone number or alternative method to get support.

    We apologize for the inconvenience caused due to the error on the site and the unavailability of the support chat feature. Our records indicate that we have already refunded the amount paid. We are also investigating why our chat system appeared to be down during business hours.

    I am rejecting this response because:   

    I did not communicate with ExpressLane through their website chat, which was not available.  This is only one of my frustrations.  I could only find a contact number through the data my bank had on this firm after I submitted a refund claim with my bank.  I contacted the company with this phone number and was routed through various people, until I described my issue to someone in that division.

    ExpressLan did not appear to validate or address any of my concerns with their company.  Repeating: 

     - ExpressLane has absolutely no contact information no email, no chat option, no working phone number and no address on their Website, their ******** Site, or in the BBB files.I believe this company operates fraudulently.
     - ExpressLane does not have a chat available on their website as they state.
     - ExpressLanes website offers no address or phone number to call with issues.
     - ExpressLanes ******** account includes a phone number; but that phone number does not work.Refer to below.
     - ExpressLanes phone number in their BBB account is fake, and does not work.There is no address included and no email address.

    The customer that filed this complaint later contacted our customer service department through the chat feature readily available on our website.  The course fee of $25 was refunded on December 22, 2023.

    The primary issue reported was the inability to validate the customer's driver's license and personal information, requiring the completion of an affidavit.  The affidavit is a requirement of the ***** ********** of ****** Safety when the student's information cannot be verified electronically through the *** system.
