    SK Ryker Construction was hired to grade and surface our driveway area. The initial invoice 2/18/2024 was for $3924.06; then it was amended and increased by $2,200.00 on 3/6/24 as the area was extended. They were paid $6,124.06 in full. The work was completed on 3/6/24 with the caveat that they had not as yet sealed the driveway and they stated they would return to do so within a few days. The weather was forecasted to rain and it did rain within 2 days which resulted in erosion/deterioration to the newly completed driveway. I immediately contacted the owner, ****** ****** and submitted photos of the erosion/deterioration. I was assured they would return after the rain and things dried out and they would repair the erosion and seal the driveway. They have not done so to this date. On 3/11/24 I was told they would do it the next week. 4/1/24 I was told they would do it after things dried out. Periodic communications via text and email over the months have only resulted in them claiming that they had not forgotten this issue and them claiming scheduling issues as the problem. Mr. ****** always states they intend to return to make repairs but will 'check his schedule' and he has not done so as yet. It is now October 2024 and has been seven months. The driveway has continued to deteriorate and erode as it was never properly sealed and the initial erosion that occurred 2 days after it was installed has worsened and left it vulnerable to further erosion. This is not acceptable. I am seeking resolution of the job being satisfactorily completed (immediately) or a refund of monies paid so that I may pay another more reliable company to complete the work. Photos attached are from the INITIAL rain damage that happened 2 days after install, it has suffered further degradation in the time since.
