Important information

  • Additional Info:

BBB of Greater Houston and South Texas was notified of the BBB Serving Canton Region & Greater West
Virginia's investigation on the business.  Per that BBB: When
conducting an investigation into Business Compliance Division (postcards were mailed
out with a fraudulent North Canton, Ohio return address), two business owners
then received a letter from the TX company, Corporate Compliance Services.  Business Compliance
Division is attempting to 'sell' Certificates of Good Standing and/or
Labor Law posters at exorbitant prices. Corporate Compliance
Services strictly sells the labor law posters.

    When calling
the phone # found on the letter, 202-729-9969, it is a male voice recording
saying "Hello and thank you for calling the Corporate Compliance Services
Center, Labor Law Compliance Request Division". Several options are given
to press, but for any option pressed, the caller receives the same response, "if you are
receiving this message it means all lines are busy assisting other callers.
Please try your call again shortly."  The call is then dropped.

BBB Houston has also received multiple complaints purporting the business sends letters indicating the purchase of these Labor Law posters is required by law for businesses and requests payment of $84.  The letter is a solicitation and not official correspondence from a government agency.

About This Business

The BBB cannot confirm or deny the company is still in business. However, they have failed to respond to the BBB to address and resolve the complaint issues.

While this company is not an accredited business of the Better Business Bureau, the company has developed a pattern of complaints. Corporate Compliance Services reaches out to companies, notifying them of a fine if they do not purchase Labor Law posters. Consumers make payment to Corporate Compliance Service only to discover the business is not acting on behalf of the Department of Labor. The Department of Labor provides Labor Law posters for free.

Additionally, the Corporate Compliance Services has failed to provide a written response to the numerous complaints sent to them from the bureau.
