I recently applied for a unit in this community. They requested a $400 deposit while processing the application. I was denied on March *******. While they accept the deposit via bank card, they do not refund the same way. Ive been waiting for the refund, which they say will arrive in check form in 21 days. That timeframe has passed and Ive yet to see my refund. Upon reading reviews (a bit too late) I noticed that its their habit to slowly release your deposit check. BEWARE, DO NOT PAY THE DEPOSIT. They drag their feet when its time to return your $400 deposit

Someone rented an apartment in my name, and now a debt collector Hunter ******** is coming after me for 12,331.84 in rent from Camden Holly Springs. How did this happen, still waiting for a call back to get this straightened out. I have a case number and the people are in jail. I need this fixed asap because it hit my credit report this weekend... expecting a call back asap, I also would like a copy of this bill sent to my email. How did this happen? Camden holly springs is not verifying identities. I am beyond upset that Camden Holly Springs facilitated identity theft and now is sending debt collections after me when I live in the state of New York.
I have left messages, you have my phone number and email. Call me ASAP

I truly believe this place was NEVER inspected and nobody took the time to even consider the fact that this place was not move in ready.
I got to see my empty apartment less than 24 hours before I was supposed to move in and when we entered the home people were running our electric that we were already paying for and touring our home that we were moving into in less than 24 hours.
I have had flooding twice and I just moved in last month this cause my electric bill to come at $400 due to the fans running from the 3rd party to “repair” the damages.
No support from camden, just told to pick another apartment or I had an extended time to send my rent. Then got a 3 day notice on my door.
I cannot find a corporate email or contact. consider this urgent. So please treat it as such. I would like someone to reach out to me immediately.

Absolutely stay away. Lived there for 5 months (Scottsdale location). They are an absolutely useless, money hungry rip off. “Luxury” is an ironic joke. Trash strewn through hallways (for an extra $38 a month!) plus the cans in the garage are always spilling all over (that amount varies per month - usually $15 or so). Trash is really the theme - that what this place is.
Lied to get me to sign the lease - I very specifically asked about the noise level and they said it was quiet. That was a blatant lie and the leasing agent knew it.
Elevator constantly broken - and such was the case for the full weekend of my move out through at least that Tuesday. They told me they’d credit me a day because of the inconvenience, then billed for an extra day.
I communicated with Dianne in billing who was unprofessional, unhelpful, and slow in responding. I am in collections now over a $200 balance I was disputing with them. Date on the collections letter is 6/17. My bill was due on 6/15. And I had emailed them on 6/9 and placed multiple calls too.
Now I can’t even get logged on to the damn collections website because it’s not worth messing up my credit. It’s mind boggling the disaster this place caused for me. I moved out 4/23 and it’s 8/15.

We do regret this resident’s level of dissatisfaction. Our records do show communication with Megan before and after the move-out process. There was one discrepancy on the final statement which was corrected. Ample time is given to all former residents to pay final charges. Once the deadline has passed, the option to pay online and directly to the Landlord is disabled.

This community is in the heart of the entertainment district of Old Town Scottsdale, and all residents do sign an addendum acknowledging the level of noise they will experience.

This community provides a valet trash pickup service. Standard practice of this service is resident leave their trash bins outside the home for the valet to pick up the trash. Bins are required to be brought back in after pickup. This information is provided to all residents at move in.

If I could give them no stars I would. We moved into Camden Las Olas two years ago, site unseen from Seattle. We had no idea how dirty and unsanitary the place was. The elevator has broken down numerous times and has fallen numerous times. We moved here because of its proximity to DT Fort Lauderdale and because it had a fantastic pool. In September 2022 they begun construction in our garage to shore up the building and we were told it would last about a year. Construction is still going on, as they determined that our pool was leaking (just like Surfside Condos). We renewed our lease in March 2023 and in November they announced our pool would be undergoing renovations and it would reopen April 19, 2024. We found out in a town hall meeting on April 22 that the damage is severe and construction will go on until at least January 2025. The pool is our #1 amenity. Camden has refused to give the residents a monthly concession - instead they offered $250 off one month only. In addition, they are charging the same rates as brand new apartments and they are raising rents. We pay $3800 for a 2b/2b and the place smells like urine and feces. This place is HORRIBLE.

The pool renovation project is aimed at improving the community for all our residents. We regret the inconvenience this has caused. The end-result will be a better amenity for everyone to enjoy. We are pleased this resident decided to continue her stay for another term.

I live at Camden Plantation in Plantation, FL. Within the monthly rent, there is a monthly Technology Package with ******** and you can’t opt out. This is guaranteed cable service with the community (Camden). ******* disconnected my services on 3/31/3024 and Camden is not doing their due diligence to assure it is reconnected. They have stopped responding. Essentially I’m forced to pay $115 monthly for a cable service that I can’t enjoy. I signed an agreement with Camden, yet they are not standing on their lease agreement.

The Xfinity account mentioned is one that Camden had no control of. Regardless, we did our best to assist Ms. Hammond until the matter was fully resolved.

This complex had two large working rock fountains on the interior for the enjoyment of residents. Starting in about January 2023 they turned off the water, allowing green moldy water to sit and attract mosquitos. Six months later they drained the fountains, but never turned the water back on. No notice or reason was ever given to residents. Then this week they began demolition of those fountains. The largest one sits in front of our unit. For five straight days they have used heavy equipment to demolish the huge rocks forming the fountains, sending fumes dust and dirt into the air. I have not been able to use our balcony because I am constantly coughing and throwing up over the dust and fumes. I have not been able to walk our dogs for the same reason - I am sick from the dust and fumes. I have complained with management but have had no recompense. We should be compensated for the changes to this complex, the decrease in our right to quiet enjoyment, our inability to sit on our balcony during demolition, and reimbursement for my doctors bills due to sickness from this construction.

We regret that this resident was not satisfied with the communication efforts before and during this beautification project which our records show was consistent. Renovations are sometimes necessary and might cause some disruption and dust. However, the end-result is a better and more scenic landscape than before, for all our residents to enjoy.

****** *** **** is horrible. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. There has been nothing but construction noise going on from fixing the roof, pool, and garage since I moved here in 2023. Can't wait for my lease to expire to move out. The carpets are disgusting (management refuses to replace them) .The pool has been closed since December 2023 and will be closed until further notice. They tell you that the pool will open again soon for you to sign a lease. Every Friday they gives us a construction update which is a lie as the dates keep on being postponed. They also don't keep up with the buiding. There is dog pee and feces everywhere. Only good thing is the location.

The management lies repeatedly to residents about multiple issues including construction to the pool decks completion date. Elevators are out of service repeatedly and inspections have been expired since August. The management said it was waiting on the physical inspection form to be sent. However, a resident searched public records and found it was only recently applied for, long after expiration. The management lies over and over to residents. I’ll just philosophy I work nights and a lot of residents work from home. That is nearly impossible with multiple jackhammers going at the same time right outside of our windows. The management lied to me
Personally about them not using jackhammers as well. The gate to the resident parking garage is left open and there have been vehicle burglaries. There are doors to the outside street left unlatched and unlocked and the homeless man is repeatedly sleeping in our stairwell, which we often have to use because the elevators are down.

Thank you for taking time to meet with me to discuss your concerns and thank you for choosing Camden to call your home. We understand the improvements we are making have impacted your living experience, and for that we apologize. I assure you the end-result will be beautiful and worth the wait. When the project is complete our residents will have a stunning area to enjoy. We held a town hall and discussed the timeline to be as transparent and forthcoming as possible. Delays have been unavoidable. We have offered residents access to our sister community next door so you all can use the amenities including the conference room, resident lounge, heated pool, and fitness center – to have a break from the construction or have quiet space to work. While we too are anxious to have this space and the quiet that comes with it, it is Camden’s priority to ensure the job is done right. The beginning stage of this project is demolition, which is loud, but it will not last the duration of the project.
We do have a service provider who performs preventative maintenance on a regular basis, but even still things can break. What is important is that we respond quickly to arrange for the repair.
We have now scheduled our concierge to ensure the retail garage gate is closed at 8pm and to check the stairwells, followed by our maintenance team upon their arrival to the community at 8 am. Non-residents cannot enter the residential areas without CHIRP access.
      Thank you for your time.

Don't move in here, save your money and headaches. The truth is we dont trust the work team at this point from this place since not proper procedures have taken place since day 1 to begin with after a flooding. I have asked for reinspection after damages twice and still did it wrong.Work was not well done up to code professionally. Flood restoration never came to our unit the day of the flooding incident; Using 2 towels, my own mop, and the water vacuum is not a professional flood restoration team. They promised a room at a hotel and they never booked a hotel I have recording and proof of it. They could have sent us to another emergency unit instead, but didn't.. Painting over mold or water marks isn't really fixing the issue inside the walls, which isn't professional either after water coming out from walls down to baseboards. No integrity in their parts, nor do they care about the well-being of tenants. Unit **** where flooding occurred, wet carpet was seating there for days, . If they have a mold addendum to sign when moving, question it, since this place seems to have flooding issues in other units. Dont move to unit **** neighter, workers half-***** all work and painted over instead of fixing inside drywalls properly by professionals because their maintenance supervisor Devin ordered that way. Apt. still smell musty! We cant wait to leave this place! People who made reconstruction is questionable about doing it up to code because some of them even told me they were not ***** workers here in the US.and they only follow orders of their contractor which I asked for business card and never provided one himself or by Camden. They all claimed it was safe to do all construction with us being present (minors too) because they didnt want to move us to another unit or pay for hotel cost.

Thank you for your feedback. I know we have gone over this with you before, but happy to explain it again. The leak was caused by a moving company working for a neighbor upstairs. A sprinkler head was broken. It was an unfortunate accident. Emergency bells rang and we were able to shut off the fire sprinkler line within 5 minutes.

A third-party mitigation team was called in to handle the restoration of your home on the same day. Once everything was dry the mitigation team did repairs, replacing drywall and repainting wherever they deemed necessary. Your home was cleared of moisture per the vendor.

We would like to meet with you to address your concerns. We are regret any and all inconvenience due to the unfortunate incident.
