  Solar SME helped me with my solar last year and this year I'm getting a battery backup. *** and ****** were helpful and answered all of my question that I had. I originally wanted to do both at the same time but I was unable to do so at that time. Now, it's time for the battery. I expect a another good experience with SolarSME and i am sure that they will deliver.

  Solar SME people were very pushy and called me incessantly until I broke down and signed with them. I paid them to get started. After that all communications ended till I recieved an email telling me that they wanted to terminate the contract but this was after I paid and the date I was given was not going to work for them. Do not use this company they are very unprofessional and there is lots of broken communication. I was told one thing then another. I have texts and emails with all the contradicting information that I received so when it came to them not liking what was in the contract they up and cancelled it. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!

  We sincerely apologize for the frustration you've experienced, and we appreciate the opportunity to provide some context regarding your project. Initially, when you mentioned a lower competing quote, we explained the differences in scope and quality. After some time had passed, you reached back out and asked if our original offer was still valid. We honored the same discounted rate and restarted the process at your request.During this time, your existing solar system was not functional, which delayed the project. You resolved this by contacting your installer and sending us the necessary proof of system operation. We then placed your project in the scheduling queue and requested the first payment (as outlined in the signed agreement). The payment structure was clearly defined in the contract: a first draw before unmounting the panels and the final draw upon remounting. However, there was a significant delay in communication, and our Project Manager received limited responses. Upon your request, we held off temporarily while you made your final decision. At that point, we decided not to proceed with the project due to repeated delays and lack of payment assurance.

Despite this, when you later reached out to revisit our offer, we honored the same discounted rate and resumed the project at your ********** that time, your existing solar system was non-operational, which understandably delayed progress. Once you had it restored and provided confirmation of system functionality, we promptly re-entered your project into our scheduling queue and requested the first payment, in line with the terms outlined in the signed agreement. The payment structure was clearly defined: an initial draw prior to unmounting and a final draw upon remounting.Despite multiple follow-ups, the initial payment remained overdue, creating both administrative delays and operational uncertainty. Given the breach of the agreed payment terms and the disproportionate time spent on collection efforts at this early stage, SolarSME made the difficult decision to disengage from the project. Such early breakdowns in communication and commitment are not conducive to a productive long-term client relationship.We wish you the best in finding a service provider better suited to your expectations and timeline.

  You made me produce my quotes so how they were unrealistic and lacking verifiable documentation is not the truth. I did not reach back out to you till the system was transmitting then I waited to hear from you guys so I reached out. The payment was made then the contract was canceled after the fact and I have proof of that. What was confusing was that your sales person said you wanted a deposit of $250, so I expressed my concern of the terms changing and not ever seeing your project manager like your sales person told me he would come out to the house. Your company could not come the day that was told to me by your sells person. So after I started questioning and asking I got an email canceling the contract. Like I said before I have texts and emails to prove your team lacks communication and professionalism.

  I contacted Solar SME to install a battery backup system. They convinced me to add solar, to claim the tax rebate for the batteries. The system they proposed was pretty simple, and they said it could possibly be completed within a month. Four months later, they tell me that the system the proposed is not possible, even though they assured me that they had experience with the batteries that I purchased. They then proceeded to cancel any further business with me, because I have decorative stone on my exterior walls. The communication was not great, and in the end, they were pushing for a larger investment from me. They also asked for my SSN over the phone.

  we truly regret the inconvenience. Unfortunately, *** doesn't approve EcoFlow batteries, and your exterior stone wall prevents installation of required Enphase components like the combiner box. We explored alternate solutions including Hoymiles and **************** but due to these utility and structural limitations, the project wasnt feasible. We value transparency and thank you for your time and interest.

  I found Mr. **** **** and his engineering coworker to be helpful and good guides. When other departments failed with my detailed information request, **** ****, was able to provide me with answers. No arguments. I needed a breakdown like bills-of-materials and such. He helped.Thank you to ****. So this review is mainly for him. The project isn't Complete YET.

  Worst company ever to do business with . They dont pay at all so dont do any work for this people because you wont get paid and if you give them your ACH for payment the hack your account .

The job you completed was referred by us as a goodwill gesture after receiving a call from an individual in need of solar service in your area. However, we are not liable for the payment/service agreement, as the service arrangement is strictly between you and the client. It is the contractors(yours) responsibility to establish a service agreement with the client and ensure payment upon job completion. We kindly request you to remove any misleading reviews or statements regarding this matter, as such allegations could have legal repercussions. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
