    Booked this hotel room. Arrived to hotel and checked in. Went to see the room and the facility. Simply opened the door to the room then closed it the door. i had received a call that my mother was sick and I had to leave. Simply went back to the front desk and talked to *** informing him that I had to go and I would need to cancel the reservation. He took back my keys for the hotel room and told me not to worry it would not be a problem. Informed me to call ************* for a refund and that i was successfully checked out. I called ************* and explained the issue.. First they could not find any information on the reservation. Then was able to find it told me they contacted the hotel and *** had told them that I was still staying there. Transferred me to someone else who told me the same thing then told me they could not help me.. told me I needed to call the hotel and talked to ***. I tried that and explained the issue to him letting him know that ************* told me to contact him. Explained to him that i was not in that room and that I handed the keys for the room over to him. He told me that he will not refund my money. i asked him to give me a reason as to why. He then raised his voice to me and stated " Listen A****** I don't have to refund your money your are still staying here" in which I told him to not raise his voice and do not call me an A****** He then hung up the phone. I called back and he stated I left the room in a mess in which I tried to explain to him that the room was already nasty. He said "good luck with getting my money back and hung up on me.

    My apologies if we did not meet your expectation. Let's be realistic no hotel will refund you the money after you check in. you use the facilities for a few hours and just decided to check out. you called choice hotels to canceled your reservation when you were already checked in.
