      I had to go get the ice I needed due to refusal for delivery, therefore I paid at the time of pick up for my products. I had been set up as a COD Account which is fine, I didn't mind. This gave me one less thing to worry about in the end..... So I thought. I have been trying to get a bill cleared with the company for almost a year now for products I already paid for in 2022. I have provided them with their own company receipts, and they still will not clear my account and close it. They keep saying that since that branch closed, they cannot find the payment with their own reciepts.....

      We have been getting the same run-around that many others seem to be getting. Our order was set for 7/12/24 and as of 7/17/24 we haven't received it. When we call, we're given the most minimal information possible. "It hasn't been routed. We emailed the plant. We escalated the order/issue". That is just a broken record of dismissiveness that we can't seem to get away from. They have monopolized the ice industry, at least in our area, leaving us with no alternative. The heat index this week has averaged 110 degrees Fahrenheit. I know this isn't the concern of Reddy Ice, but their customer experience is.

      I have sent numerous email messages to the local Reddy Ice in my area requesting a sit down meeting and possible tour of the facility. I have received ZERO response. I have also called numerous times and received no return phone call. I have consulted with my attorney and feel that we have more than enough evidence to file a lawsuit in regards to my now life threatening illness stemming from consuming Reddy Ice over an extended period of time. I have undergone numerous tests that have conclusive findings as to the root cause of my declining health. For anyone reading this who would like to follow my journey over the past 4 years in ************** **** any social media general search will lead you.

      Our company used to deal with the Ice House in **********, **. and never had any problems. Then Reddy Ice bought them out and we have had several issues, especially with deliveries. Most recently I actually had a driver show up around 5pm and told me that his supervisor told him not to worry about filling the ice because it was getting dark, but that they would be back the next day. That was 8 days ago and they still have not been back! I keep emailing them and have been told that I will get my ice 'today' or 'tomorrow' 5 times....

      The time when Reddy ice has overtaken the other small ice delivery companies in Baltimore it has been a night mare. They don’t deliver to my small Buisness nor other local companies can deliver in their ice boxes due to legal things. Now we are without ice from almost one year. I have called them several times they don’t have any answer. Requested them to take their ice box back two months ago i one shows up.Calked customer service they say they will escalate . No one contacts me to tell the status of my request. I want them to take box away so that we can put new box. They don’t come , no answer . This big company has ruined so many small Buisness . I hope they vanish from Baltimore, so that other small ice company can at least deliver ice to small Buisness like us.

      This is a horrendous company to have to deal with. The lack of communication from them shows nothing but a lack of care and an immense amount of ineptitude. One time I had my ice delivered within the promised delivery window. One time. Every other time it's 3+ days and there is no communication explaining the delay. I have to call, email, leave messages through their poorly designed app, and leave voice messages. The calls, I feel, are barely answered even when I'm told they can escalate. Time and time and time again they "escalate" and time and time and time again nothing gets done. They bought out the ice place I worked with before and it's an absolute shame. The previous company had wonderful customer service and built a relationship around care and getting the job done as promised. Now I feel like I get the table scraps end of talking to someone on the phone with the same lifeless repeated phrases "I'll have this escalated" or "I'm sorry sir, I understand your frustration". They do not understand, they will never understand. Worst part is they continue to buy out the local competition so I don't have any better options. One of the worst, if not the worst, companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. All I want is contact. If there are challenges they are facing, tell me and I would absolutely be understanding. But to be left in the dark constantly? Unacceptable. Absolutely unequivocally unacceptable. This "business" needs new management from top to bottom. I hope that one day I can find a company that actually cares and wants to do their job so I never have to even say the words Reddy Ice ever again.
