If I could give this review a -10, I would. Worst travel experience I've ever had in my life! The stations are crappy. They have nothing but expensive vending machines in them. The drivers are mean and hateful. The ONLY reason I rode with them this year, is because I didn't have my Real ID. Decades ago they weren't so bad. I wouldn't recommend this form of travel to my worst enemy.

Bus did not show...nobody answers phone at Greyhound in ****** where the ticket was bought. I wrote a complaint to headquarters in ***** and nobody responded. I am owed a refund. The website told me to fill out a form for a refund and leave my bank info so they could deposit it in my account. They seem to be a ghost business that operates under the radar dishonestly.

Uncomfortable. Inaccessible. Unclean. Unprofessional. Unsafe. I will be taking the train from now on

My 83yro Uncle was traveling from ********** ** to ***********. The driver was rude and when asked questions only provided sarcastic remarks. When he arrived at his stop his suitcase was behind others that had been placed in front of his at another stop and the rude driver would not let him move the others to look for his. He ended up in the hospital because his medications were in his bag and he was not allowed to look for it. No one from Greyhound will respond to me

I wish I read the reviews prior to booking. My family is terrified of flying so we made a horrible decision in taking Greyhound from Bos to ATL . I have to say each and every driver had their own rules and ways of things. There was one driver who hated people eating , another talking, another using phones. For those who are not aware it takes 26 plus hours to get to ******* from *** using Greyhound ....normally half that. We got stuck on a highway due to bus malfunction , another bus arrived 1 hour after ..in the heat with no room for extra riders..... drivers swerving... I mean come on!! NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN . Let me know if you all need help running things because this is not the way to do it

I am an 80 y/o, great-great grandmother on a fixed income. My grand daughter bought a round trip bus ticket for me to visit her and 9 of my great grandchildren in *******, **. I departed ******* on my return trip to *********, **. on Tuesday March 18. At departure site in *******, saw luggage loaded in under bus compartment. Upon arrival in ******* received instructions from driver to disembark from bus taking only carry on bags . Further instructed that bus would be cleaned and that we would board the same bus and resume our trip. No other passengers were allowed to board . We had 2 rest stops before reaching *********. Upon arrival at my destination, driver opens under bus compartment and my suitcase was gone. In contacting bus line, I received this reply "Thank you for contacting us We're sorry to hear you misplaced a bag or another item while traveling with Greyhound. While Greyhound expressly disclaims liability for your lost baggage, we're happy to check with our teams to see if anyone turned your lost items into the Lost and Found located in our stations." I fail to understand why it is the passengers responsibility to have the driver to open the luggage compartment to check if each passengers luggage is still there at each stop. No instructions to my point were given by driver. I feel I am not responsible for the loss. I feel that if anyone selects Greyhound for travel, it would be a good idea to check at each stop for their property.

Booked and paid for bus fare for my girlfriend to return home. Bus was delayed over four hours. Would not have been possible to make required transfers. Not making the transfers would have stranded an unescorted woman in ********* ********* for no less than 24 hours. There was also the added expense of lodging and food to add to the trip. The bus ride was cancelled after the bus company notification that the bus would be at least 4 hours behind schedule. The process of getting a refund or voucher is nothing short of impossible with dead ends and unavailable staff. The bus company is incredibly easy to book and pay for fare. After three days of trying to contact the bus company, the booking number now does not exist. This is the worst example of customer abandonment I have ever encountered.

We reserved seats on the first row on trip from ** to *************. They sell you those seats as "panorama" but in reality no driver is going to allow you to seat on those seats for security reasons. They are offering a service they can't provide and charging more for it!!
