  I had a deeply disappointing experience with All My Sons Moving & Storage. I was charged over $1,500 to move just a bed, two chairs, and an entertainment shelfwith the destination being less than 15 miles away.The breakdown was outrageous:$845 for labor $212 fuel surcharge $338 for travel time and $111 for materials Not only were these charges excessive, but no final total was disclosed upfrontI wasnt given the full amount until after the move was completed.When I called to express my concerns, I spoke with someone named Axel, who was unprofessional, raised his voice, and refused to offer any resolution. What was particularly troubling is that Axel have discounted similar charges for other (non-African-American) customers, but made it clear he would not do the same for me.This was not only poor customer serviceit felt discriminatory. I was met with disrespect, no transparency, and no accountability for the inflated pricing. I would caution others to be extremely careful before using this company. I will not be recommending *********** to anyone in the future.

  I hired 2 movers from this company & felt as if I was over charged for the entire process. They called me the day before & said they would arrive around 8am, around 9:45am I hadn't heard anything after calling and texting. A few minutes later I get a call saying they wouldn't arrive until 11am, they arrived around 11:25 and did not finish until 4:40pm. The distance from the original location was about 22minuets, 8miles, and I was charged $130 for gas(even though I was told I would only be paying for one hour of fuel). I only needed a sectional couch, king size ************** frame moved into a one bedroom apartment, & most of the items were put inside of the elevator. I had already broken the love seat, couch, & bed frame fully apart and they did not have to break down or assemble the items together. They did not ask if I wanted anything wrapped then charged me for the plastic wrap, that took them 3hours to wrap three items. I was asked to pay $1,231.60, after paying a $100 deposit(1,321.60total), before my items were unloaded from the truck. The original person I talked to on the phone gave me a quote a little under $500 and said for my items it should only take two hours.When asked about the break down of the cost the answer I was given by the mover was vage and he just said gas and materials& one commented that he was "ready to go and would leave it on the ground" & constantly complained about the area I was moving to and that he didnt want to be out there without a gun.After about the third hour, the movers were arguing outside of the apartment on the amount of time they were taking which caused one of the workers to call his boss &quit on the job. After he calmed down we talked &he let me know that he would at least bring my couch up,that took another 2 hours. After showing up 3 hours late and taking 5 hours to move only a couch and a bed,that was mostly taken up on an elevator, I was charged $1,232.60 for what I was told would be a $500 job on the phone.

  We hired this company for a one bedroom (700 sqft) apartment move (with elevator) to move 3 miles to a two story townhouse. Everything was packed and waiting. They moved a bed / frame and mattress, dresser, vanity and nightstand, a tv stand, sofa and chair and wicker deck furniture and a handful of small boxes (we had already moved most of the items ourselves and needed the company for the heavy items described above.. when the guys arrived they said they were tired from a big move earlier. It took these guys 5-1/2 hours to move our stuff. We were quoted $537 2 hours labor, 1 hour drive time ($179 per hour). When they were done the manager tried to charge me $1400 !! He told me the elevator takes up time and if his guys were tired we agreed to an hourly rate and they didn't guarantee how many hours it would take. I had already put $100 down on the $537 and now he wanted an additional $900 - I refused and he knocked it down to a balance of $750. They dont' tell you the 15% fuel surcharge is based on the hours the labor cost so that was an additonal $199 to drive 3 miles. The worst part is my daughter and I had to help these guys along by moving items down the elevator to a staging area inside our building. This company is criminial at least ************** ******** is. **** (a manager by title) is a rude and completely unprofessional and told me it wasnt' his fault the guys were tired and took longer How can a company quote me a one bedroom telling me on the phone it shouldn't take more than an hour but I had to pay a minimum of 2 plus the travel and then it takes them 5-1/2 hours . I am not exaggerating when i state the furniture we had. Imagine how much actually fits in a 700Sqft apartment ! It was literally two rooms so how much could you have. Beware these guys are crooks and proud of it.

  They will literally quote you low for one or two guys and then send as many movers as they want and then justify it by saying it took x guys x hours, It would have take less guys double that. which is bull because they arent held accountable to what they say during the sales pitch. pad their times and hold your items hostage if you disagree.

  They charged more than double the amount of the original quote. They purposefully made effort to lengthen the work performed. Charged for an hour that was spent with the crew waiting for the truck. To top it off they did not complete the job. About 20 boxes were left in storage. They said it would cost a lot more to get the remaining boxes. We now have to hire additional help to move the remaining items. Absolutely terrible service and business practice. ***** using this company.

  I've had a BAD experience with this company in the ******* area. I had a 2 bedroom move at the beginning of the month. I had a very large lamp(4 feet in diameter) that went missing. I've called customer care TWICE and they said they'd follow up. Not a single call back or response. This lamp is a one of a kind and extremely large so it's not difficult to locate. Either the mover broke it or stole it, and no one is calling. Do NOT deal with this company. I've called a THIRD time and no response, again...

  I would never recommend *********** to anyone after my experience. From start to finish, the service was completely unprofessional. The poor time management threw off my entire schedule for the day. The two movers were slowly moving and taking their time for the first two hours and not even half of my items were in the truck. I had to call the management office twice to finally get them moving. They moved more in 30 minutes after that then they did in those first hours. Even worse, the way they handled my furniture was unacceptable. They were careless which led to multiple scratches on my furniture. Most upsetting of all, they damaged my 65 ******* QLED TVthere are noticeable scratches on the screen, and its clear it was not handled with any care.When I brought these concerns to managements attention, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. For the price they charge, youd expect a much higher level of service and professionalism. Unfortunately, this company failed on every level.Avoid *********** if you value your time and your belongings.
