      Thursday March 1st 2023 @ 12:24p, I texted my landlord about a Bath and Body Works Wallflower getting stuck in my outlet. There was no prying it out. She responded at 4:11p stating she’d show the maintenance man my picture and see what he said. Friday March 2nd she sent me a text stating he’d come take it out “sometime” but not sure when. I stated earlier in my text that my outlet was working and the Wallflower stuck in it was also still on, which is a little scary. Saturday March 3rd, I had my sisters fiancé take out the plug since maintenance never did, the plug was burned where my wallflower prongs were and the 50+ year old wiring had burned the cloth insulated wire. I sent pictures to my landlord that same night begging to have it looked at sooner because I have 0 other outlets that I can safely use my air fryer with. I reiterated I only keep 1 thing plugged in at a time and if it’s not being actively used, it’s unplugged to save on electricity. I receive no response until I reached out again Monday March 6th @ 12:04p. She responded @ 1:22p stating he would come by the next day. Another night of me cooking on the floor with my oven unplugged, so I could plug in my air fryer and put it on the ground next to it. I texted again Tuesday March 7th @ 12:09p and maintenance finally came over and ONLY installed a new plug. No electrician was called to confirm plugging something in with a high voltage would be ok after something with very low voltage caused a circuit overload and burned most of the wire/plug. I asked if the burnt wires had been looked at @ 2:49p and receive no response
