    Business Response

The patient visited our office on 1/24/22, 1/29/24, and 2/12/24 for which all services were provided and billed to their insurance. Subsequently, a refund check of $142.40 was issued on 4/12/24 once all claims were processed. This refund was sent to the address provided by the patient during paperwork completion. However, on 5/30, the patient called in an aggressive manner, claiming that the office was deceitful and attempting to defraud them. Upon clarification, it was revealed that the address we had on file was disputed by the patient as incorrect. Our manager explained that we would submit a request to the financial department to conduct an investigation to confirm whether the refund check had been cashed before issuing a new one. We assured the patient that if the check had not been cashed, a new one would be available for pick up or mailing on Monday, 6/3, and took note of their updated address. Despite this, the patient called again, displaying aggression towards our staff and alleging baseless accusations, including the absence of a financial department and accusations of deception. We reiterated that we do indeed have a remote financial department and assured them of our commitment to resolving the matter. The patient then threatened to defame our office due to perceived unprofessionalism and dishonesty. Regrettably, the patient proceeded to leave a negative review and submit this complaint.

this is about the clinic (Enamel Dentistry *******************************************************) concealed and misled the insurance policy and coverage so that I continued the service: I made an appointment with this dental practice specifically after confirming they were in-network with my insurance. After the service (deep cleaning) on Jan 4 and Jan 8 (they even split the service into two dates and told me that's per insurance preference). my insurance denied the claim due to the dentist being out-of-network. The dental office misled me regarding their network status and then attempted to conceal the real reason for the denial.
