Months of delay, false technician reports, and a $300 scam charge.Terrible service, zero accountability. Avoid unless you enjoy stress and lies.

I am filing a formal consumer complaint against Tesla Energy Solar related to a solar panel re-installation attempt at my home that began on October 31, 2024. During this installation, Teslas crew caused physical damage to my roof and gutter, misrepresented evidence, and has failed to resolve the issue despite six months of ongoing communication.Shortly after beginning the reinstallation, Teslas installer informed me that the plywood decking under my roof was separating from the beams. However, by that point, the crew had already drilled into the roof, compromising its structural integrity. Tesla admitted to the damage and temporarily sealed the area. In addition, the upper gutter was bent and no longer functions properly. Despite multiple escalations, including to Teslas field supervisor ****** ***** and later to ****** ***** and ***** ******** of the Energy Resolutions team, the company has failed to provide clear answers, take full accountability, or resolve the matter.Critically, Tesla submitted photos of a detached garage structurewhich had no relevance to the main home or installation siteas justification for their internal decisions regarding the attic decking. This misleading documentation is deeply concerning and further erodes trust. We were required to submit our own photos, and Tesla refused to send someone to inspect the damage unless we paid out-of-pocket. Tesla originally claimed our roof lacked sheathing, then reversed that position when shown photographic evidence, only to later claim the sheathing was substandard. Despite a professional roofing contractor explaining the damage in a conference call, Tesla has failed to provide a clear scope of repairs or accept full financial responsibility.

Early Tesla adapter here, been driving Tesla since 2019. I know I have negative equality in my trade in so I called them and ask them run some lease numbers on the 2025 Tesla Model Y, and the sales *** told me I need to place $250 order fee to look at the number and if the numbers does not work, I can cancel it and get a refund. Next thing I know, run through bunch of the to do list items, they told me I need $20000 down payment. I was not mad and upset, I just told them that probably would not work nor do I have the money. so I got a hold of them and they told me the fee is Un refundable unless its denial. I am not sure what to think here, does anybody willing to put 20k down payment on a lease car? Am I missing something here? Of course since then they don't return my massages anymore, nobody will do a thing now. I will not be buying Tesla again, please be aware if they tell you to place order, don't do it til you are 100% sure you are buying or they will just take your money and tell you you can get a refund which you can't.

Complaint Title: Lack of Response from Tesla Insurance Adjuster and **************** Complaint Description: I filed a claim with Tesla Insurance after my vehicle was involved in an accident. I was assigned a claims adjuster and received an estimate for the repair. However, it has now been nearly a week, and I have been unable to reach either the adjuster or Teslas customer service department, despite multiple attempts by phone and email. During this time, I have been forced to drive my car daily in its damaged condition, which is both unsafe and stressful. There has been no communication or follow-up from Tesla Insurance regarding the status of my claim, the repair process, or any next steps. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially considering the reputation of the Tesla brand. I am requesting that Tesla Insurance provide immediate assistance in processing my claim, assign a responsive representative, and resolve this matter as soon as possible. Desired Outcome: Immediate contact from Tesla Insurance regarding my claim Clear timeline for repair and resolution Improved communication moving forward

My solar panel has been producing only half of what Tesla originally promised, and this issue has persisted for over a year and a half (August 2023 February 2025). Despite sending seven different crews to address what should have been a simple fix, Tesla took more than 18 months to resolve the problem. As a result, I incurred over $1,200 in electricity charges from my utility company. I first raised my complaint with Tesla support in December. At the time, they assured me they would handle it. However, when I followed up last week, I received the following response from Tesla: "Thank you for reaching out to Tesla Energy regarding your concern. I'll be more than happy to assist you with this matter. Upon reviewing your account, I see that we needed to visit your property multiple times to investigate and address the issue. After these investigations and attempted repairs, the issue was ultimately resolved, as per Teslas responsibility under your agreement. Your system is covered under warranty for defects and workmanship at no cost to you. However, Tesla is not responsible for utility bills, so we are unable to offer compensation for those charges. I apologize for any miscommunication regarding this matter."I find this incredibly unfair. Is there anything I can do to hold Tesla accountable?

No wonder this place has an F rating!!! I am not surprised! I spent an hour and 30 minutes on hold for their service center and no one answered. I was still playing the hold music when I arrived there after getting a ride from my friend. Absolutely the worst ever customer service experience. This would never ever happen with ***** or ********************** You need to do better ******** ***** Service!!! Unbelievable!!

This so called vehicle is the worst machine every created since the history if vehicles. What a disaster. It can explode, lock you inside, does nothing that a truck is suppose to do. 4x4?...yeah right. It can not move in a centimeter of snow and don't try to go up a hill. Want to get driven into a pole or off of a bridge.? If you do this is the car for you. Mechanical failures abound. Complete garbage.

Cybertrucks look and drive like something that ******** ****** would drive. You know, cause he was a traitor and all. Its also drives like something that someone with 13 kids and addicted to ketamine would drive. I dont want something like this. Tonka Trucks made better vehicles than Tesla.
