    I lived in the Cielo side of Madrone Apartments for 6 years (2014-2020). I was never once late with payment even though countless times I had water damage or items that were left unfixed for months at a time. When I moved out in 2020 my contract stated that there would be a walk thru to go over any issues and agree on them before **************. Madrone refused this service due to Covid. After spending hours cleaning the apartment and moving out I was sent a bill for $42 and my security deposit was seized because they said they had to hire cleaners. I showed up to discuss the issue and offered to just pay even though I didn't agree with the situation but they would not take my money due to company policy. I then tried to do it online but again I could not get it to work. Just this week I checked my credit report and found that these people filed against me for a disputed $42. I spent well over $100K in rent with this company and was never once late in the 6 years I was there. They continuously had issues as well as over 5 management turnovers that created multiple hassles including major water damage, mold, broken appliances, etc. This apartment complex is great to get you in and very nice but once they have you or they know you are moving out they turn on the customer.
