I had my lashes done yesterday, Monday, July 29, The very next day today, Tuesday, July 30 they are all falling off my eyes. I reached out to Cathy H*, the owner of catlashed. She responded by blaming me for having mascara on. I explained to her that I did not have mascara on. I do not wear mascara. I wash my face very clean before I went to see her, however she is now insulting me. She actually put lashes on my eyes and attached them to what she says was mascara, knowing that it was not going to stay. She put lashes on my eyes when she knew they were falling off as she was applying them, but she never said anything to me that that was the case, she knowingly put lashes on what she said she saw was mascara, knowing that they won’t last but anyway the very next day, Almost all the lashes are falling off my eyes. after I left a review she now is accusing me of having dirty lashes in her response. She is very unprofessional and rude and not taking responsibility for her bad shoddy work. She refused to give me a refund. I paid $230 to that useless business for lashes that were promised to last for three weeks and they cannot even last overnight for one day. this kind of business should not be in the community and it’s a disappointment and a complete disgrace. I don’t use mascara. I clean my face before I came to see you. If you Felt that the lashes were attaching improperly, or you thought that they might be clinging to something, then you should have told me, we should have stopped and clean the lashes properly and then proceeded in a safer way. I don’t wear mascara, but you are the professional and if you felt that it was not attaching improperly because you saw something that look like mascara, then you should have said something to me and we could have stopped and clean my lashes properly before proceeding. How could you continue to apply lashes on what you now say you thought was mascara and expected it to last 3 weeks. I paid $200 to have a finished look.

This client made a complaint about her lashes falling off after application. I simply explained that it could be due to her coming in with lashes that weren’t clean. I immediately offered to fix them when I responded to her and kindly reminded her that my website and booking site both state that for the best application, one must come in with a clean face and clean lashes. Before starting the service I mentioned that she had on mascara or eyeliner of some sort and that I would do my best to clean it off. Unfortunately after using a lot of product and even using lash prep and primer the retention just didn’t hold. Regardless of fault, I offered to fix them complimentary before she proceeded to write me a paragraph insulting my professionalism. At that point I was extremely uncomfortable trying to fix anything. She then demanded a refund for a service that was already done. I kindly explained to her that we don’t offer refunds and that my policies are listed on my website and my booking site which you have to agree to in order to book an appointment. She has been harassing me on multiple platforms including ******, ****, my personal website, and now on this platform for a whole week now.
