My car manufacturers roadside assistance assigned this company to swap my flat tire out for the spare. They said a ****** min wait time. After 110 minutes, they notified that they were too far away and were unable to complete my request. Complete waste of 2 hours of my time.Around the Lock

After I looked into this further, We actually let your insurance company know about 10 min after we received the job. After we cancel a job we dont have access to any of your information, so the insurance company is in charge of notifying you as we arent able to due to a lack of information on our end.Review fromLucas H

Last night I foolishly locked my keys in my truck. I called my **************** sent out this company. It was late night & these guys showed up in less than 30 minutes. ZERO STARS! These people are terrible! They took money that was paid to them by my insurance company and still would not come to change my tire. THEN HE BRAGGED TO ME ABOUT BEING PAID TWICE WHEN THE DISPATCHER TRIED SENDING HIM BACK OUT. Do NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM. IF YOUR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE ASSIGNS THIS COMPANY TO YU... I would love to look into this further for you. Im unable to find a file with your information, so I can only go by your comment. That being said, we dont get paid twice for jobs. We dont get paid at all if we arent able to take the job on. Im willing to bet that theres more to this than youre posting on here, but I understand that people are quick to leave bad reviews in the heat of the moment. Poor customer service. They gave an hour ETA; but I have been wait over 1 1/2 hours for has to be delivered to my vehicle. No one will answer my phone calls or texts. I am ill and stranded in the heat! Awful!Around the Lock

His ********************, I am terribly apologetic that you were sitting out in the heat for so long.I was able to find your invoice from your insurance company. Upon looking at it, I see that the job for your fuel delivery canceled 10 minutes after it came in. That explains why we didnt show up. That being said, I really wish that you wouldve tried to contact us first before leaving a bad review on our company. We try to go above & beyond for all of our customers. At times, things can happen to cause a customer to feel negatively about any place of business. I am very sorry that this happened. I wouldnt recommend them to my worse enemy. They literally jerked me around all week and yesterday they assured me I would have my keyfob. And its after 3p Ive called them twice they are sitting me straight to their voicemail which is full. I wish I wouldve known about these jackasses playing games I wouldve called my insurance company and get someone else. At 2pm on a Wednesday, I contacted my insurance for information on my roadside assistance. They went with Around the Lock for my auto unlock. I was given an estimate of ***** minutes. This didn't seem too horrible as I was at the grocery store & always carry my kindle in my purse. So I didn't really mind (what I thought would be) the 1 1/2 hr wait. I had some cold groceries in the car, but still an acceptable time. Then the waiting started, at 2 1/2 hrs I tried calling to confirm the address and arrival time. (I had receivied automated texts but better safe than sorry.) Unfortunately, not only did I not receive an answer but the voice-mail box was full, so I couldn't even leave a message. (This becomes more important later.) At roughly 3- 3 1/2 hrs I get a call from the driver asking for address confirmation. He had the correct address. He said he was 25 minutes away and that he was the third driver they reached to come for my unlock. An hour later I tried calling him back thinking he was perhaps lost. No answer. I try again about 45 minutes later only to be told it was passed off to ANOTHER driver and he would see what he could find out. I don't hear from him again and got no answer to a follow up call. Throughout this process I am receiving automated messages with estimated arrival revisions. A couple say 60 minutes, the rest range from ***** minutes. Every time it gets close to the arrival time they send a new text pushing it back. It is now 9:30pm. I just received another revision text for 28 minutes. I don't know if they desperately need more drivers or better ************************* but I DEFINITELY do not recommend them without some major changes. At 6:30pm I finally went with another company that I had to pay out of pocket for. They were running behind but were there in under 2 hrs. Around the Lock still hasn't arrived.Around the Lock

Oh wow, I'm really sorry to hear this. I guarantee that we wouldn't just leave you out there waiting. I did some research and I found your invoice and it seems that your request canceled out of our system approximately 26 minutes after we received it. The texts and phone calls that you were receiving were not from us, as we do not send texts; we call directly. The texts were from your insurance company. Unfortunately, this has happened before ajf its usually when the insurance company dispatches multiple companies to.one customer. They then will still text you multiple times updating you on the first provider that was assigned. That was more Than likely us. But we never came because it got canceled out of our system, again it's probably from your insurance company and not on our end. I greatly apologize for any inconvenience that it's caused you. If you'd like to reach out to us, we will gladly reimburse you for any out of pocket expense you may have had from dealing with another company.Review fromJenifer S

Around the lock is not reliable . I waited 3 hours but they did not show up. Theyre supposed to call me when they are 5 minutes away but they failed. My husband had to pick me up and my car is still in the parking lot waiting to get fixed. I dont recommend this around the lock. Their service sucks!Around the Lock

I'm very sorry that you had this experience. For about 3 months now, there has been a lot.of.issues with the dispatching platform that we have been using for the past 5 years. In order to rectify situations like this, we have chosen a different option for our dispatching solutions, so hopefully this will not be happening to anyone else moving forward.
