      One time used and we finishing paying almost 800 dollars for a small repair!Never again I will use this company. It is hard also to repair emergency needs when you need it... you have to wait until they can do it.

      People save your money , I have had this Gold protection plans for going on 7 Years at 755.00 A year X 7 years. Every Summer since I , have had this protection plan they have been to my house 12 times, for the AC which is 19 years old. plus every time you use them , you pay a 150.00 service call plus a 130 dollars per pound of freon. They band aid your appliances. Note the 12 times they have visit my home to do Ac work it’s the same problem.

      The absolute worst customer ********************** experience! I have been without a washing machine for well over a month. I have repeatedly contacted them, trying to resolve my issue, and have been waiting for a week for a supervisor to call me back.

      We have used AHS for six years, the used to be pretty good, not anymore, we called on May 7th because our dryer wasn't working, they said they would find someone.. After 2 days we called them, they said they found someone.. Well the person never called, we left messages, he finally called said ..take a picture of the I'd number of the dryer,we did never heard from him again !!!! The representatives at AHS keep telling they will get a hold of him...nothing its now May 21 st, nothing...we want our deposit back and we are cancelling our coverage, and by the way all the service people who have come to our house ALL said they won't work for them anymore because it takes months and monthsfor them to get paid, no companies in our town will work for them...same reason...I'm done !!! Don't use this company !!!!! Scam !!!!!??

      The refrigerator stopped cooling. AHS replaced ice maker instead of fixing the issue. After two months, still I am waiting on a part to be replaced which I think will not fix the problem. The Technician also seems helpless with all this . I asked for a buyout and they are offering 150$ for a Refrigerator . I am with Platinum plan and I think the time has come to really look at whether this is worth continuing

      American Home Shield is an absolute trainwreck! Completely unreliable, they rob you blind with worthless coverage and brainless service. Endless stalls, idiotic excuses. Spare your wallet and sanitystay far away from this trash heap of a company!

      If I could give them a zero I would. I have been with them for over 7 years before I filed the first claim. It was for a washing machine. They failed to inform me the status of the repair request for over 5 weeks and when they did they informed me it would be 6-8 additional weeks for the repair to be completed. They offered me a little over $300 for a cash out since the machine could be repaired, but failed to provide any alternative to being able to do laundry at home. When I asked for the pay out and then to cancel my subscription, they said that they wouldn't pay the cash out for I was no longer a member. There is no way that I would recommend them to anyone.

      Have been waiting now since May 9th for a service repairs for our refrigerator!? When trying to call AHS about numerous cancelations for repairs,all I get is a phone bank in the ***********!??? Today May 21st was scheduled for a service repair for the refrigerator from 8 to 5 and now it's been moved back to May 27th!??
