      I hired The MountainClean Team after speaking with the owner, Martha Prince. The services were sent to us via email. We included linen service, so they were to provide the sheets & towels. We asked Martha to remove our personal sheets & towels & secure them in our owner’s closet. She accepted this request via email & asked for the owners closet code to complete the task. Our cameras show the cleaning techs arrive & only set up paper products. We contacted Martha who stated they would get them washed & returned. Our 2nd guests arrived to a cloudy green hot tub that was crystal blue & brand new 1.5 weeks prior. Martha rectified the situation, but it never should have happened. July 30th we arrived at our cabin to find severely mismatched sheets, missing top sheets, flat sheet being use instead of fitted sheets & it being too small to stay in place, not a single bed had anything coordinating. Severely mismatched towels, no spa towels, & several towels with bleach stains. The brand-new grill was filthy & the grease trap full. The fireplace had peanut shells, potato chips, & ash. Trash on the balcony, beer bottles in the yard, firepit full of burned wood, patios had sand & debris on the floor & rugs, cobwebs, crumbs at the cabinet toe kicks, & our personal sheets & towels missing. Martha said she would let her techs know & would return our linens on August 6th. The next morning Martha gave us her 2 week’s notice. After providing a list of our linens, she stated she did not have everything & could not be accountable for things that were never in her possession. When I provided copies of the emails mentioned above, she stopped communicating. I have emails & text messages to document every commitment of service & pictures & videos of the property & the cleaning techs. The MountainClean Team was paid in full, but never returned our sheets & towels, never offered compensation & ghosted us.
