  I wish I had read Calina's review before I went to this clinic. A friend told me about them and I felt they would be a good fit for me. I went and met with Alex and had the consultation and ordered my 1st round of medicine. When it was time to reorder I used a different email address and didn't get a response. I followed up again and he advised me that by using the 2 emails I had confused his staff. It appeared he worked alone so I'm not sure how may staff members were reading my emails. He did confirm that he had ordered my meds. I emailed him on Thursday to make sure I could pick up on Friday. I live and work 35 miles away for Cleveland where his office is so I didn't want to go before double checking. This must have set him off. He emailed be back and told me he was going to refund my money for the refill and dismiss me as a patient. I apologized for any confusion on my part and ask him to reconsider. He responded to this by referring to his "Letter Criteria" that stated you must be pleasant and follow directions so no would no reconsider. I've never been told I was unpleasant much less that I was unpleasant in an email. I was highly offended by this and felt like a child that had been scolded but I thanked him and let it go. My take on this is if you want to do a program on your own with no communication from staff "Alex" other that email and money receipts for your transactions then Alex and Ocoee Health and Wellness is for you. I work with the public and if I treated my clients this way I would not have any left to work with. I suppose he already has too much business. I prefer a more personal touch. These clinics are a dime a dozen and on every corner now. I will move on but I won't forget this experience. Alex needs a lesson in manner and how to work with people. Rhonda G

  Today I met Alex and was made to feel like an incompetent idiot and was then kicked out of the shop. Never in my life have I dealt with someone so unprofessional all because I had questions that he did not want to answer. I was told I should have read the email concerning those questions, however the document sent did not say one word about insurance . That indicated to me that he did not want to answer my questions and help me feel comfortable in understanding what I might be signing up to do/get. What I thought would be a 30 minute appointment that would provide information and reassurance became an insulting and degrading experience. Alex did not like me asking how they are able to offer services so cheap and offered "magic" as the way. His exact words were " I'm a magician." I was looking for a medical professional to help me feel confident that what I was putting in my body would be safe and instead he was offended and felt he did not need to help explain his services because I should have educated myself prior to my arrival. I'm not sure about anyone else but there is no way I'm spending $400 a month for a service I'm not comfortable with. It was his job to reassure me and explain how things work. His refusal to do so seemed sketchy and very unprofessional. He might not need my business and that is fine, but I certainly hope anyone who is looking for a compassionate medical service would stop and turn around before subjecting themselves to humiliation and maltreatment which is what Alex and his business has to offer. He had an opportunity to put my mind at ease and help me start an exciting journey to feel better about myself, but instead left me humiliated and distressed. I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone!

  This is a top notch team, where you're more than a number. The team cares as much about your success as you do, perhaps even more. Professional and caring, you can't ask for anything better.
