A Plus towing is the worst towing experience ever. This business will take advantage of you. Highly suggest using someone else. If it is after business hours their company policy to not tow to a Collison center but to your house for $200+ or their yard for $105 plus a daily fee of $55+ until you get it. If you don’t pay same day they will only tow to the yard and force you into the $55 a day. The supervisor Andy is unprofessional, rude, and a bully. Also, if I officer calls you a tow truck company as who the company is. If it’s A Plus Towing cancel right away, if they get to your location they will charge you $105 for coming out even if they don’t take your vehicle. If you don’t way, they will forcefully hook up your car and take it directly to their yard. Save yourself and call Jim and Rons towing, their customer service and experience was so much better.

On the service in question, our company was called out by the PD to assist an accident. The call time was 8:05pm on Saturday the 26th of Oct. The vehicle owner requested it be towed to the Dealer's body shop.  The dealership was closed at this time and we have been instructed not to deliver vehicles during non-business hours (liability).  The PD accident rate is set by the city that all towing companies follow.  The options were to tow it to the owner's home(must be paid at time of tow), or to our lot(can be paid at future time, but does add storage(set by city impound rates).  When the request for us not to tow the vehicle was made we were already due for the time we worked the scene.  Accidents can be the cause of unwanted anxiety, stress, financial burden.  This, I think, contributed to the communication breakdown between our driver and this customer.  I do apologize for any added stress we may have caused.

Their company policy needs to be adjusted as we called another tow truck company that same night and they took it directly to the collision center as they have drop off boxes for after hours. This company is taking advantage of customer by towing to a home where the car will need to be towed again out towing to their own lot where they can charge daily fees. We paid their fee just so they would leave, and the other tow company could take the car. It is not a Sioux Falls policy, or a state policy that doesn’t allow them to use the after hour drop off location as other towns companies do it. If they have issues with liability for not getting vehicles to where they are instructed to go that is a company problem.
