    Cant speak for past customer service as I never needed it but can confirm the quality of the stocks and their current customer service is terrible. With plenty of Boyd stocks in my inventory, the two most recent purchased have split. Neither were replaced or backed by Boyd. 1 purchased directly and the other through a well known shooting supplier. The 90 day period is just enough to get them out of any replacements unless you thoroughly examine the stock or shoot that particular gun extensively. Both failed in less than 6 months and were properly bedded with a low recoil caliber. I wouldn't recommend purchasing any of these stocks unless your funds and face are expendable to you.

    The item I ordered was not as described. I also ordered engraving, which I was charged for, but not done. Emails not answered. Buyer beware...Before you spend 296.41 with this company, please know you are throwing your money away!

    Bought a stock and fore grip for a CVA Scout V2. Fitment was horrendous. I spent 3 hours of my time with a dremel and multiple bits trying to get these to fit properly. Never got them to properly fit. Looks like a hack at wood shop built these. Scratches in the wood are so deep and quickly done the finish didn’t cover them. After a day of them being on the rifle noticed that the wood had cracked on either side of the hammer. They email me back about once every three days coming up with something else they want me to take pictures of. This company is a joke! Nice hardwood stocks yeah right cheaply built laminated plywood junk! Only left one star because there is not an option for half a star.

    I have bought multiple gun stocks from Boyds. The latest was for my savage model 12. The hole to mount my rifle did not align. Decided not to pay a 10% "restocking" fee so that Boyds could send this stock to someone else for another restocking fee. Filling the hole and redrilling stock. Was told by Boyds that this would void my "warranty". Nothing from nothing leaves nothing.
