    Please do your research before using a mailbox service. There are several better companies to deal with. Americas Mailbox staff are diffucult to deal with. Communicating with Americas Mailbox is really tough, even in 2025. They drag their feet if the issue doesnt suit them. South Dakota Clerk of Courts states that Amaericas Mailbox stipulations are 'Excessive' and 'Strange'. Americas Mailbox doesn't follow South Dakota codified law nor Postal Service Code, Americas Mailbox only does was suits them best.

    Terrible customer service and false advertising! I sent in the forms to set up my PMB, but heard nothing back from them for over 10 days. I called several times and received excuse after excuse. I was transferred to Donna who never answers. I would leave voicemails, but never got a call back! They say that a PMB can be used for anything, but forget to mention that most banks will not accept a PMB address. Even their welcome kit said that this is due to banks misinterpreting the Patriot Act and it includes a link for a workaround to this issue. However, the link does not work. When I requested a working link, the information included was completely contradictory! It said that the Patriot Act does not allow banks to accept a PMB as your residence and that you need a bricks and mortar address. They suggest using the address of a friend in SD. If I were able to do that, I would not need their service! When I finally got a hold of Donna, she tried to get me to pay her $100 personally to use her address! This screams SCAM!

    Incompetent does not begin to describe Amy. Please do not use this service. The state makes it very easy to register your vehicle. Amy will continue to charge outrageous fees and not complete service. Amy is unprofessional, she hung up the phone on us and refused to do any service bc she was not actually checking with the state to see what they would or would not accept. Amy claims to have a manager check her emails and she will lie about who her manager is. Just save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for service.

    Overpriced AND incompetent. Both times letters needed to be sent … both wrong they don’t put correct forwarding addresses on packages sent. Causing delays and outrageous changes for forwarding which is not spelled out anywhere on website. Seems to me they change what they want. 30 bucks for 4 letters. And I have overpriced account of gold status. Which is over 200 bucks/year. Just go somewhere else. Complete incompetence!!!! And overly priced. Period end of story. Go some where else!!!

    We are sorry the customer is unhappy with our service. The address and shipping method were chosen by the customer, so that was taken out of our hands. By choosing a faster shipping method increases the cost of shipping. Those are postal service rates, we can not change them.

    I have been with America's Mailbox for many years. Due to polite and efficient staff, resolving any and all issues from registration to mail, they get it done and keep me updated. Best decision I have made was to become a member.

    I have dealt with Amy twice for vehicle registrations and this past one was rather complicated but Amy was always there quickly to help and get the job done. Thank you Amy, it's always a pleasure dealing with someone like you who is friendly and diligent at your job.

    Outstanding Service. Amy took care of everything very quickly. Even with a slight hiccup on the state’s part, Amy sent over the additional forms needed, clearly described what was needed, and got it resolved. Their pricing is very reasonable for the custom service they provide. I highly recommend using them.
