    Business Response

I spoke to Cindy at BBB earlier, I have attached those photos of the invoice with the notes, showing what I told Miss ***** when I was at her home and pictures of the area where the washer and dryer was. Just so the public can see action of what I have in here September 19 miss ***** called saying her washing needed to be fixed and it was urgent. I was pretty close to her home so I went ahead and fit it in that day. I went downstairs to look at the washer. The area was flooded and covered in trash. The washer supply lines were two garden hoses connected with clamps in the drain hose was draining into the floor of the basement, causing the whole area to be covered in old laundry, water. I tested the washer and reset the main control board went upstairs and told Miss ***** that washer was not safe to use until she had the supply lines and a proper drain installed. I gave her Handy Man’s phone number that lives close by. Also explain to her that I reset the control board on her washer and based on past experience if that problem returns, the main control board will need to be replaced.   A few days later miss *****. Send a text saying washer, not fixed very suspicious.  I called her and explained everything again and she seemed fine. For the next two weeks or so she would randomly text late in the evening saying she’s getting angrier and angrier and other random text messages. I spoke with her towards the end of last week, and she seem to not remember at all the conversation we had at her home about the control board and the washer connections needed to be installed properly and just seem to think they were lying to her and trying to take advantage of an old lady. Again, I think she really believes this after talking to her last night I think there’s some memory issues going on. But either way last night I sent her a text back after she hung up on me and I told her that I would have a refund check for the full amount of your house today and the only reason for that is that I think she really believes I have been dishonest, even though I have not!  Oh, so that’s today’s plan. I will be taking the check by there before the end of the day. Hopefully she will realize from that that we were not dishonest and we’re not trying take advantage her. And I’m talking to her last night I think she really believes what she is saying or she’s just trying to get a refund. Not sure but she will get a refund today.

Hope you have a great day! Thanks for the help. I called that lady no answer but sent her a text letting her know the check was in her mailbox. That’s where she told me to put it. I’ll keep an eye on the bank account to see when it clears to make sure she got it. Thanks again, Wade
