  ****************** are a broker and had I known this and that they would hire Coast 2 Coast, Van Lines and had the opportunity to read their reviews, I would have never hired them.Just months before, I had a ruptured brain aneurysm and 2 strokes and the immense stress on moving day brought me to tears. I will say, however, it felt like the gentleman doing the paperwork genuinely acted as if he felt bad (especially under the circumstances). Moving day and what followed was a nightmare!! I was inundated with paperwork after the movers arrived an hour earlier than scheduled (because they were ready and had a very busy day). Be very careful with what you initial and sign, especially when it comes to the insurance coverage. Make sure that your renters or homeowner's insurance covers your move.Their office staff was rude with not an ounce of compassion or care. Oh, and let's not forget, I had to follow up with ****************** and then Coast to Coast Van Lines the day before the move to see what time they would be coming the following day.The quoted cost went up an est. $2,000. They damaged my 55' flat screen TV, (not operable) several plastic bins, dishes and so forth. It was almost like someone had a bad day and threw my belongings when loading or unloading the truck (from ** to **). I was offered $60 to cover the damaged goods and a hold harmless to "let it go". It most certainly was not worth what I feel people should know about Coast to Coast Van Lines. If you chose a moving broker, find out who they will hire to move you and do your homework long before your move!!

We also acknowledge your comments regarding the paperwork process and the unexpected cost *************'s important to note that, as is common practice in the moving industry, initial estimates are subject to revision based on the actual details of the move determined on the day of service. After the delivery, we did try to contact you to follow up on your experience; however, we were unable to connect. We also want to clarify that our claims department operates independently, and we do not have direct control over their procedures. Additionally, our delivery driver noted a difference between the extent of damage you described and what was observed upon arrival. It seems a significant part of the concern stems from the claim settlement of $60, which is consistent with how claims departments typically assess and compensate for damages.We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not fully meet your expectations.   what ***** and ****** were great they showed up as promised after the phone call on time. He reminded us to do the walk-through so that he didn't forget anything since it was a partial move. I will recommend Coast To Coast anytime thank you for your help
