    I engaged AC Mechanical through Lowes to in install a GENERAC emergency power system for our home. In the process of the installation, one of the technicians cut a hole adjacent to the main fuse box and carelessly allowed the saw blade to penetrate the wall in an adjacent room. The installation did not require the hole in the wall of the adjacent room. However, due to the "dry wall clause" in the contract, vendor would not repair the damage to the second room. It seems to us that under this theory, AC Mechanical could do almost any damage in the process of the installation and not be liable for it. They should not be immune to claims for damages due to poor workmanship.

    On every generator install every customer signs a sheetrock release form stating AC Mechanical will not be liable for damaged sheetrock. However we did reached out to ************************ and he informed us he had already had the repairs done to the sheetrock. For customer satisfaction we offered ************************ a one year generator service maintenance agreement, which ************************ excepted at that time.
