    This business is a remake of a failed and bankrupted GannMemorials plush maker, who also took many many customers' money and never produced their products or refunded their money, which led to court filings, cases, judgement against *********** **** and his company, and ultimately bankruptcy so he could get out of paying back the innocent customers he stole money from.He is at it again with Joyus Toyus Plush, and I only wish I had known about the history before I allowed him to take over $16,000 of my money in November 2023-January ********, in September 2024, I have been trying for months to get my money back after he failed to produce a product for my project in a timely manner. We contracted in Nov 2023 for a soft deadline of May 2024 and a hard deadline of early July 2024, and he never even produced an acceptable prototype in all those months.Further, I have been in personal contact with multiple other current Joyus Toyus clients who have experienced the same treatment as I have from this man and his company. At least two of them have begun legal proceedings, and I have had my lawyer begin the data collection and will be joining the others in legal proceedings.The fact that he actually bragged to me on the phone about his exemplary rating with the BBB is why I have finally come to leave this review. Innocent people need to be made aware of his terrible business practices, lies, and deceit.He will string you along, saying all the right things, while no progress is made on your project.Then, if you ask for a refund, the same behavior repeats, stringing you along with promises of repayment, while your won thousands of dollars are in his hands and you are left without money or product. I am a small business owner that could not afford to have over $16,000 tied up for all these months without a product to show for it!I will add, that he has sent a SMALL amount of money back to me, but I believe that is only to string me along and try to keep the legal heat off
