    Poor management. We showed up to our reservation and found out at check in that we were being charged $30/day for bringing our personal golf cart and $100 storage fee for having it on our trailer. This information was never provided to ** at booking nor in a confirmation email nor is it posted on their website. We were told this new policy went into affect the day we arrived. It should not have applied to ** since our reservation was booked weeks before this new policy. We were not given any warning to this charge and would not have brought our golf cart had we known. After asking to speak with a manager, we were told we could either pay the amount or leave. We traveled hours to get there, packed an entire car WITH kids and they told ** we could just leave. No idea how they think they can get away with this when there are families who budget when planning trips and this fee came out of no where. The manager tried acting like they were full this weekend and they must stick to this new policy. Its laughable at how empty they actually were. I called the main KOA number and they said they were not aware of this policy. The website shows that personal golf carts are allowed with proof of insurance. No fees were stated. Our trailer took up no more room than another vehicle would have and we only brought one vehicle. We had plenty of room (and more) on our site. So heres the kicker, after spoke with MULTIPLE other guests, it turns out that we were all charged differently, one family said that they waved the fee for them completely because they threatened to leave. After arguing with them and not knowing that charged others differently, they finally waved the golf cart fee and charged ** $50 for the storage fee. SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS IS FAIR. We will not be back. I refuse to reserve again not knowing what RANDOM fees they will come up with next.
