  I used Top Turf for my lawn maintenance (weed, fertilizer, aeration). I thought they did a really good job. My lawn looked the best it had in years. **HOWEVER**, when the next year rolled around, things went south: 1. First, they restarted service in the spring without notifying me. Perhaps it was in the fine print of the initial agreement, but if so, I missed it. I had not intended to continue with them. 2. Despite the fact that I notified them I would not be continuing, they offered a pitiful incentive of $10.00 off on only the first treatment. Granted, they didn't have to offer anything, but $10 was small. 3. Again, despite the fact that I had said I would not continue and wanted to be off their contact lists, they continued to send e-mail, postal mail, and call my cell phone. 4. Today, I called and asked to be removed from all contact — e-mail, phone, and postal mail. I was told that they could remove my phone number but not my e-mail or postal address. I consider continued contact via e-mail and postal mail to be spam. So, use Top Turf if you plan to continue, but if you ever stop service, you'll apparently continue to get their spam for eternity.

  The information this customer received was incorrect. We have the ability to mark accounts for no calls, no texts, no emails, etc. We can and will remove phone numbers and emails from inactive/cancelled accounts. This has now been done for this account, and the CSR has received training on the procedure. We apologize for the mistake.

  That's great! Thank you. I knew the information I was given **HAD** to be incorrect but I didn't know any way to get past that CSR to lodge a complaint. Now that this has been corrected, I would love to rate Top Turf at least 4 stars — maybe 5 stars except that prices seem too high for what I get and there is the issue of my requesting earlier (before talking with the CSR) to have my contact info removed and that was not done. My yard did look the best it has in years — thank you!!

  This company and their service is awful. I had a fully sodded new yard with ****** ******. In the year and a half of service, they have ruined it. Twice a supervisor has come out and all you get is excuses. This last treatment burnt my yard and along the edges where they missed, it is covered in weeds. They are NOT knowledgeable at all about lawns or chemicals. I suspect they hire whoever walks in off the street because you never get the same person twice. I am now having to replace sod at great expense and find a company who knows what they are doing. If I was lawsuit inclined, I would sue them. They are scam artists, a camera tells the truth! Save your money and your lawn!!

  Do Not use this company. I had been suspecting barely if anything was being put on my yard. Well today I caught them. The 1st thing they do is put the stake in, put the bill on the door, & would have left if I hadn’t have walked out to get the bill. Then he pushed the spreader across my yard and 1/2 way down the side did same to neighbor & left. Less than 10 min total on 2 houses. I called the main office she said she’d have them come back & do it right. I’m like no he saw me on the porch & knows I know what he did. I don’t want him coming back here ever. She basically told me they don’t get punished for this unethical work ethics & never acknowledged anything was done wrong except he didn’t put enough product on. Really ; a tiny L line is all he did in my yard. I then realized the corporate practice must be do as many yards as you can with no product & if they call back then actually do what you are getting paid for. Great way to save product & scam people if you are that kind of Company. I told the manager you cancel my acct I do not associate with businesses that cheat people this is absolutely one of the worst business I have ever had the misfortune of throwing my money in the trash with. If I could give Top Turf a zero I would. They were never professional. From the beginning you are forced to do the automatic pay. Then when they come out (even the 1st time) no one comes to the door to introduce themselves. They definitely do not ever ring the door bell like most companies I’ve had do letting you know they are there, and now I know why.
