Hello, my name is *************************** and I would like to file a complaint on the Octapharma Plasma ******** site. A few times in the past I encounter minor issues with some of the workers. Since then I have been profiled and singled out making my visits frustrating and uncomfortable. I always follow all the rules that I am made aware of during my time spent in the facility while donating. I noticed little changes being made that seem to be centered around my presence. I normally just ignore the snarky comments and gestures by the employees. This particular evening, I came into the center to donate. I signed in on the app and jumped on line. Upon reaching the desk to be examined, one of the employees stated that they implemented a new policy where you aren't able to donate upon wearing any head gear. I happened to be wearing a bonnet this evening. I refused to take it off and was told I would be ineligible to donate due to my bonnet. I have worn a bonnet into the center several times. I have never been told to remove my head gear which stops at my hairline might I add, never preventing the employees from verifying my identity. I asked the employee when this policy was implemented, her response was "we just started enforcing this policy". As I walked towards the exit I noticed another young lady who had a bonnet on as well. So I stopped her and asked her, did they ask her to remove her bonnet or shift it for any reason her response was no, not at all. This is the reason I feel profiled and singled out. I have reached out to you guys on a few occasions making you aware of the conduct of your employees. My hope is to get some real unbiased support when it comes to donating at this center. Because it's not fair to be treated this way because of a disgruntled employee. I have also attached a picture of myself and my head gear and also a picture of the young lady who stated they never asked her anything about her head gear.
