      My service suspension system light came on the dashboard of my truck, the truck was otherwise operating normally. I took my truck to ********** for an estimate. The estimate that came back was over ********. I was told that the whole front suspension would need to be replaced e.g (struts, ball joints control arms etc). also, the rear air ride shocks would need to be replaced. I took the vehicle to ******************** for a second opinion and the only thing wrong was the rear air ride shocks. Main Street fixed the problem and it cost me ***** to remedy the problem. I asked ******************** to carefully inspect the front suspension. They found nothing wrong with the front suspension. This truck, with 127K miles is well maintained and babied, and has not been in any accidents. I have never taken the truck off-roading. I don't understand why Hardwicks would produce such an outrageous estimate for work that was not necessary?
