      Direct Tools refuses to honor ***** 90 day replacement warranty, I have a sprayer that went bad within 90 days, motor bad, warranty center says no replacement motor is available. ***** warranty says return item to place purchased from within 90 days for replacement and Direct Tools says NO. I have many items bought from Direct Tools, but will no longer buy from them.

      BUYER BEWARE Unscrupulous business practice. I purchased ************ from Direct Tools Factory Outlet on 6/27/2023 for $209. By 7/1 the price had been reduced two more times to $126. I was refused compensation by email and phone. I feel certain that neither acquistion cost nor blemishes changed that much in three days. The return fee assures there will be no returns, with a 20% restock fee. BUYER BEWARE

      I bought a scroll saw (06/02/2023) and when I received it (06/07/2023) was broken. I sent an email to Customer Service the same and they replied (06/09/2023) that I had to call to process the return. I called (06/09/2023) and they process the return choosing an exchange for my item. I called Direct Tools customer service to check on my return on June 19th and spoke with a representative. She told me that the exchange was not processed because they had not received the broken scroll saw, after a few minutes of checking, she found that they did receive the item on 6/12/2023 and they never entered into the system. She also mentioned that she entered on the system and the exchange was going to be processed in the next 2-3 days and if I did not receive an email from them to call back. I never received any email or call from Direct Tools regarding my return/exchange so I called a few times and waited on the phone (21 mins 9 secs on June 22nd, 1 hr and 42 mins on June 26th, 2 hrs 24 mins on June 27th, 17 mins 26 secs on June 28th). Also, In some of the calls after waiting for several minutes I made a selection for the call-back and they never called me back. I had to buy the item again and had to pay for shipping again when it was their fault in the first place. A month later, I still have not received my money back for the return since I don't need the exchange anymore because I never got it.

      Buyer beware… this company does not give refunds. If you buy something and walk out the door, you can’t return it for a refund even if you walk back in the store to get one.

      I'm changing my review from 2 stars, although I'm not sure I can delete the other one. My issue was resolved with a policy change to not have test tools out for everyone. I'm actually very happy with direct tools and Ryobi but I will squawk when inconsistency is around. I appreciate the changes made and the management for knowing I did this and keeping great customer service when we come in anyway, hence the review change.

      AWFUL! They shipped a tool I didnt receive - they wont help - at all try to figure out why I didnt get my tool.. BUYER BEWARE!

      This company takes more orders than they have product in stock or maybe not enough help to fill orders,On my first order just keep getting emails tell me there running late,After this i called and cancelled order with lisa a customer service rep,Must say she was really nice,This was my first order and my last from direct tool !

      Terrible. Ordered couple things online and later got email saying my order was cancelled bc delivery address doesn't match billing address. But they didn't touch my account. What business is it of yours where I have it shipped? No other place I've ever ordered anything from do they have to match. It's called a job site. Oh and they did take the money out of my account as well. I switched billing address to where I wanted it shipped but they cldnt do anything abt it. Sure were quick to take the money but to put it back in a different story. Didn't offer me any compensation in fact said there will be done. So now I don't have the tools or the money for a week.

      I wanted to write this review not because I think this company is really great but because I seem so many negative reviews but my experience with this business was alright. I really had no problem with this business except one little thing is the original item I ordered I received it damaged but it wasn't necessarily this companies doing but the shipping company which was *****. I know from experience ***** is very rough with packages and they do not care even a little about being gental with packages. Anyways I called them up and they answered the phone in like seconds and the whole phone call was probably 5 minutes. I told them my problem and they apologized and asked if I wanted a refund or to exchange the item and I chose to an exchange. About 15 minutes after the phone call ended I got am email with a return label. I packaged up the return and sent the damaged item back. They received it in 2 days and my exchanged item sent out the following week and I got it to my address in about 2 or 3 days. The exchanged item was in the correct condition and works great. The item I bought was a factory reconditioned ***** sliding miter saw 10 inch. So my over all experience was 4 star but if the first item I ordered didn't arrive damaged it would have been 5 star but to get the item I wanted at half the original new price I will gladly put up with having the slight inconvenience of having to return the damaged on and wait for the new one. I will purchase from the company again.
