On 4/27/2023, we used a bathtub (installed by Mr. *********************** for the first time since moving in to our residence the day before. We discovered a major leak affecting the kitchen ceiling below which was due, according to Mr. *********************** to improperly applied plumbers putty to the bathtub drain. We also reported that the tub drain plug would not hold water when bathing, and the tub drained slowly (which he fixed). On 4/28/2023, he fixed the plumbers putty issue and returned 5/10/23 to repair the water damaged kitchen ceiling. At that time, he stated that the drain plug mechanism was defective and would need to be replaced. He then repaired the kitchen ceiling damage due to this water leak, but the future defective repairs ruined this ceiling remediation. We then communicated back and forth with him all summer and fall as to when he would be able to repair the faulty drain plug mechanism. Finally, on Sat., Dec. 9, 2023 (almost 8 months later), he attempted replacement of the faulty drain mechanism and was unsuccessful as he AGAIN failed to properly attach the drainage pipe to the bathtub. This again resulted in another catastrophic leak onto the first floor kitchen ceiling below and surrounding 1st floor walls. All this damage was again documented, including bubbling of the paint over the sink, which was not present prior to the leak on 12/10/23. In addition, when he installed the new drain mechanism, it was longer and changed the angle of the drain pipe, resulting in draining slowly again. The whole kitchen ceiling had to be removed to clean out the mold accumulated from the April, 2023 leak and the Dec. 2023 leak. The cost was covered by insurance but the inconvenience of not being able to use the kitchen for a couple of months while remediation and restoration cannot be measured.I do not recommend his company.
