      This business is operated poorly and with unethical procedures. When attempting to cancel a contract due to a move this company asked for a lease which was provided. When calling to ask when the contract would be canceled I was asked for my sons school transcripts. Keep in mind I am canceling a contract in July. School is not in session again until September. The individual I spoke with named Sue stated that it was the ******* **** ****** that wanted the transcripts. I contacted the ******* **** ****** in which my son was enrolled immediately after the call. The instructor informed me that what I was told was a lie. He said he never told anyone at Global Membership that he wanted my sons transcript and he was fine with us canceling. When I called Sue at Global Membership back she told me "we are closed". The customer service and complete lack of professionalism from this company is appalling. I highly recommend looking into this company for unethical practice.

      As of August 1st, 2022, the contract was canceled. Both us and the client agreed upon this cancellation. According to the terms on the signed contract, customer agrees that in the event of relocation, we may require documentation as proof. We usually require two forms of proof. In this case, after the lease agreement was provided, we asked for additional proof of relocation via student's school transcript and offered to begin a hold on the account in the month of August. This would provide the client with time to enroll the student into school and start the school year. By placing account on hold, this will prevent the client from being charged during the time period it takes them to provide sufficient documentation. Instead, we have chosen to accept one form of proof as enough, and the account has been closed, and no further payments shall be charged to this client.
