    Something is not right about these parks they're very sketchy and shady when it comes to doing business with customers, both parks kennywood and Sandcastle are decent, I personally don't think they're worth the door prices and arent kept up properly, the cost is very high compared to what you're getting and it's very small, the food is good and although the cost is high you get large portions My issue I'm having is with kennywood group sales, although the party was supposed to be held at sandcastle kennywood does group bookings for both parks and that's whom I have been dealing with, don't have much of a problem with the parks but I don't recommend anyone doing business with them when it comes to scheduling birthday parties and large groups, the first red flag is that i had to chase them down to book the party and make the payment , when the day came it rained that entire day so they closed the parks, someone called to inform me so I asked if I could come pick up my tickets to distribute to my guest on a different day, I was informed that the tickets are only good for that particular day and would need to either reschedule or accept a refund, I spoke to group sales that following Monday and had to get refunded because I would have no other time available for reschedule, approximate time for refund was **** days... I called after day 12 and reached a few people who stated that the finance department is an outside source and they will get back to me once they heard from them... I'm on day 25 and still haven't heard back from anyone and now no one is responding to my calls or emails nor have anyone reached out to me I'm starting to think they had no intentions on giving me back my money and just giving me the run around, it's unprofessional the way they handle business and no one's ever available or reachable and I also been emailing the customer service and they have never responded. 8/19/23 nothing still have been done and the manager have emailed me more lies

    I had out of town guests and we had only one day we could go to Kennywood. I bought the tickets in advance. It was rainy in the morning so we arrived at 1. The rain was stopping and it was supposed to be nice the rest of the day. We were told the park was closing at 3. It made no sense since it was clearing for the day. We got rain out tickets to return but my guests live in *******. It was such a disappointment.

    I have been a loyal pass holder for many years. Today at the park, the cup they give you with the pass was lost. Somehow it came apart from the lid and straw. They refused to give me a new cup & said it was a $20 replacement fee. I informed them that my daughters friend lost her ************ replaced that. They told me that the straw was considered a part and the cup was not. I showed them the lid, handle, and straw still attached to my bag stating I had 3 of the 4 parts of the cup. They said there was nothing they could do. They told me that everyone in the park is a loyal customer. Unbelievable!! Two platinum passes = $400 plus the hundreds of other dollars I spend in the park. So much for family friendly. I now view Kennywood not as the wholesome place I used to but one that is out to **** you for as much money as they can. Thanks a lot Kennywood ?????
