    Reserved a room for one night on 7/9/22. Upon arrival, hotel smelled strongly of marijuana and smoke. During the course of our stay, we tried to use the jacuzzi tub that was in our King room. Upon filling the tub completely full, the jets/tub did not work. We tried all switches and nothing resolved the issue. The next morning, I tried to use the in-room coffee maker, however, the main component, the part that holds the coffee, was completely missing. When we departed, I stopped at the front desk to advise the employee about our issues with the jacuzzi tub not working. She began to ask if we tried the red switch on the wall in the room. Advised her, yes we did. She proceeded to check the main switches in the office, only to find out the switch for our room was turned off and that is why it wouldnt work for us. she apologized, gave me the **'s card, and advised me that she would let him know first thing Monday morning and that I should expect an email. I thanked her for her assistance and left. Come Monday afternoon, still no email nor phone call from the *** I waiting until Wednesday, July 13, 2022 to email the ** directly. His one and only response to date has been "Here is a snapshot of your reservation, you reserved a room with a king and double bed." I wrote back to him and replied yes, that was our room, regardless, the jacuzzi that is available in our room DID NOT WORK. No response from the *** I proceeded to email again and advised about the missing coffee maker part and that the employee upon our departure indicated she would refer this issue to the ** and we should get a percentage refund back. The ** never replied to any more of my emails. Never called me. Never followed up or made it right.I wrote to the main contact for Red Roof Inn (who owns HomeTowneStudios) about my issue. I am still waiting for a response.The hotel seemed to have some renovations, however, that was our first and last time staying there.
