I had Anthony & Sylvan build my beautiful new pool in 2019 we are now in 2025 and my copping around pool looks like crap. It’s all chipped and cracked, and the reason to that is because Anthony & Sylvan uses all cheap crap to make pools. I spent $90k to build my new beautiful pool so me and my family can enjoy but with in few years it looks like crap. I call Anthony & Sylvan customer service to make a complaint and they told me that they won’t help me because my warranty is no longer in effect. I never expected that my copping will crack and fell apart with in few years. Now I have to replace my whole pool copping and it will cost me around $12,000. I am very pissed off and upset. I wish I knew earlier that this would happen. People please be on look out if you are going to use Anthony & Sylvan for your pool. The project manager was exceptionalorganized, responsive, and ensured the entire process went smoothly. I was especially impressed that the pool was completed in just 30 days! ** did a renovation with ************************************************ ** had a great experience with the sales rep. *** if I knew before, what I know now, I would NOT hire them. They do not do any of the work themselves. They use sub-contractors, not employees. This results in nobody being on the same page, lots of small mistakes and timing mishaps. Their plumbing subcontractor left their truck in our driveway overnight blocking us from accessing our garage. The next day they turned off our propane without any notice to us and we were without heat/hot water for 24 hours. Nobody made any attempt to rectify the situation.** explained on day one, where to park and to be careful of driving on our driveway, ** also asked that they not back down our driveway. Every time a new subcontractor showed up, they drove on our grass, blocked us in, backed down and parked in the wrong place. Their subcontractor used our well water, without even as much as a heads up, to "wet blast" the pool. Within one hour, our well ran dry. I had to contact them and not so much as an apology or a warning in advance, knowing we were on well water.Their contract says they MAY use subcontractors at their discretion. In this case, everyone was a subcontractor. Their scheduler sends boilerplate emails asking for money, she pushes you to send them money before they will schedule the next leg of the work. The dates and schedule changed multiple times which I find to be disruptive. Once I received an email asking for a $4K payment. When I asked about it they said it was a mistake and to ignore it. Finally, they require money paid in advance. I should have pushed back at contract signing. I would say if you are going to work with them, do NOT sign their contract this way. You should never pay a contractor in full until the work is completed. ** are super disappointed. ** interviewed several small local reputable companies but believed in A&S's sales rep. ** regret choosing a large, bureaucratic national company.

We wanted to build a pool. We asked around and searched the web for pool contractors serving our area in ***********, outside ******, **. Bids came in and all were above what we expected. I was showing them a picture of a pool I saw online and finally decided to see what company posted the picture. It turned out to be Anthony & Sylvan Pools whom we had used 25 years ago to build a pool in ********. We made an appointment to visit their showroom in **************, **. We were pleasantly surprised to find them offering a quality pool meeting our specs and at a lower price than the other bids. Their sales representative spent a lot of time listening and ensuring they covered every detail of what we wanted in a pool design and the deck surrounding it. We made a few changes during the design stage and they were always happy to accommodate, redoing the drawings and 3D renderings and resubmitting for our review. To be honest, once started, it took them longer than originally estimated due to issues with lots of rain, modifying our septic system, getting through the approval process by the City, and the logistics of being in the country. All in all, during the construction process we would get updates from **** the Project Manager, or Domonic the Construction Superintendent, and one of them would stop by if we had questions. Once built, they were very thorough with the start-up process and explaining everything about our equipment. But best of all the pool and spa turned out great, we love the Travertine tile decking, nice and cool during the Texas heat, and all the pool tile, stonework and pebble finish. It is beautiful and makes our backyard a whole new and pleasurable experience. I don't feel like this national pool builder tried to upsale us and frankly we are happy to have the warranty offered by a pool company that will likely be around for the lifetime of our pool.Review fromPriya S

*********************************************** did an amazing job with our pool. We felt supported all the way from the design process through project completion. Major shout-out to the dream team: ***** *******, ****** **** and ****** ****** from the site in **********, ** (outskirts of ******). Sindo was incredible through the design process, **** was hands down one of the best PM's I've ever worked with and ****** is a dream when it comes to scheduling. Everyone was incredibly savvy and clearly skilled in their domains. I do want to take some additional time to give **** a special shout out- managing a project of this magnitude is not easy and it was thanks to his organization, communication and diligence that made the process a breeze. Any issues that popped up he handled with utmost respect and made sure that everything was handled to our satisfaction. We used Anthony & Sylvan pools for the installation of our pool. It was started in November completed in March. We would recommend them. Our PM *** ******* was the best. He is committed to giving his customers the best service. I had design what I wanted my pool to look like. Together *** and I made it exactly what I wanted. We made some changes prior to digging as we drew the pool out on my lawn. He was very helpful. He's positive attitude and suggestions always made me feel comfortable. If I texted or call he answered my calls and answered questions. If I needed help he would come to my home to help and assisted me. *** ******* is a asset to Anthony and Sylvan. We worked with the *********************************************** ********* office to have a new pool installed and we are very happy with the service we received from everyone along the way, especially our project manager **** *. He never hesitated to answer a phone call or text and even drove out of the way to help with something we had a question about. He is a valuable asset to the company. I had a repair done on my pool and the warranty department at *********************************************** were amazing. ****** was very communicative with when and who would be showing up and if there was going to be any delays. **** came by when he said he would and was very helpful with getting my pool up and running when the repairs were completed. I have been very pleased with the support and assistance that I have received from Anthony and Slyvan, especially ******* and **** since our pool has been opened. Great company with great support.
