  ******** and the highest priced in the business. Called to have a plumber come to my home and supply an estimate for a tub leak. When I called in the morning, the girl told me she would check the schedule and see when they could fit me in that day. She said it would be a $59 fee for an estimate. Later that day I called again and spoke to another lady who said they were working on getting someone out and she reiterated the $59 fee. When the plumber arrived, he gave me an estimate of $900. The gentleman that came out was nice but did elaborate that Kennihan is the highest priced company in the area. He mentioned that changing out a garbage disposal for example, the price would be over $800. I am a retired person in the trades and knew that this price was extreme. However, when he left, I checked my banking and Kennihan charged me $159 instead. I called and spoke with the owner who told me I had a hearing issue and did not hear the amount correctly, but he would talk with his team to see if they had told me that price. I did not receive a refund nor did the owner or anyone representing his company call me back. Also, I ended up fixing the leak myself which cost a total of $49.00.

  Kennihan was told the furnace problem was intermittent. The employee came put a diagnostic tester to the furnace and said its fine cant fix it if its working. Again he was told the problem was intermittent and he did not take any time to find the problem. Just told us it would cost $258, instead of the $99 service call for doing absolutely nothing except use a diagnostic tester for five minutes the rest of the time at our home he talked. We called another business the worker came out he. Was told the same thing intermittent he immediately took the time to find the problem and did and charged accordingly.
