    The owner of PTG presented us with a contract to replace and extend an existing deck. The deck was contracted to be extended 8 feet and on his own he only extended part of the deck 5ft. He then replaced the requested Trex decking with a cheaper composite board from the local hardware store and tried to suggest it was what we asked for. He continued to try to switch out our requested product for cheaper material, and then claimed we would owe him more money for any “special order” material, delivery cost, and the difference in material. There was never any special-order materials and delivery was free to the store. PTG workmanship is poor with multiple uneven cuts, gaps in boards, stairs that are not level, support beams that are not to code, the wrong screws were used and PTG continued to tell us we owed him more money. PTG was paid in full and we are currently left with an unfinished 2 story deck that does not have railing and is a huge Safety issue.
